Dugout Discussion – Everton vs Arsenal

Sunday’s action gets underway at Goodison Park as Everton and Arsenal go head-to-head in the 1.30pm kick-off.

The Gunners seek a fifth clean sheet in six as they attempt to bounce back from last week’s late capitulation at Watford.

Arsene Wenger recalls both Alexis Sanchez and Aaron Ramsey, who both missed out through injury at Vicarage Road.

Sitting in just 2% of FPL squads, Sanchez has suffered a hugely underwhelming start to the season and has mustered just two assists, though both have arrived in his last two appearances.

Mesut Ozil is handed a first start since Gameweek 5, while Alexandre Lacazette is the most captained player for Sunday’s early encounter – over 143,000 have handed the Frenchman the armband, though all four of his league strikes have arrived at the Emirates so far.

Everton’s disastrous start to the season has ensured that most of us have steered well clear of their main men.

Gylfi Sigurdsson and Wayne Rooney remain their likeliest source of points, though Dominic Calvert-Lewin is worth monitoring as a budget frontman.

Priced at 5.0, the youngster starts for the fourth successive Gameweek and may yet prove a viable option if the Toffees can find their form ahead of clashes against Leicester, Watford, Palace, Southampton, West Ham and Huddersfield in the next six.

Call Trippier not nailed but he starts every week and gets attacking returns.

Who is competing with Trippier? Heard he isnt nailed but now with Walker gone isnt he first choice? Plus less pansy than Davies too who also has decent Rose to compete

Is it insane to go Aguero, Otamendi, Trippier, Richarlison -> Mariappa, Davies, Silva, Jesus for -8?

It's insane to ask this during a match.

Desparate to get Salah and Aguero in this week but I don't think I can get both. Which is a priorty? Which transfers look best?

    A) Davies > Moreno/Duffy/Ferminia & Sterling > Salah
    B) Davies > Moreno/Duffy/Ferminia & Jesus > Aguero
    C) Lukaku > Firmino & Choupo-Moting > Salah & Davies > Moreno/Duffy/Ferminia (-4)
    D) Davies & Alonso > Two of Moreno/Duffy/Ferminia & Choupo-Moting > Salah (-4)

    Yes or no?

    For a -4 hit:

Aguero and Morata IN, for Lukaku and Jesus?
