→ The 2014/15 season was Sergio Aguero's best ever for Fantasy returns. Seven of his goals/assists and 36 of his FPL points came in two meetings with which club that year? Scout Betting

While David Moyes remained typically coy on Wayne Rooney’s chances of starting against Sunderland on Saturday evening, Paddy Power have every confidence. Indeed, they’re offering Fantasy Football Scout visitors enhanced odds of 4/1 on a Rooney anytime goal against the Black Cats – with his regular odds at 11/10 and with three goals in his last three league outings, this is another great offer for those yet to register a Paddy account.

Click here to get in on this action.

If you’ve already registered an account, you can still benefit from a Rooney Money Back Special from Saturday’s clash – if Rooney scores anytime, Paddy will refund all losing First Goalscorer, Last Goalscorer, Correct Score and Scorecast singles on the match.

To be clear, the Wayne Rooney special is limited to a £10 stake and is open to new Paddy Power customers only.

Finally of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to have a bet, always gamble responsibly.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

The offer suggests nothing. It's just a tacky gimmick by a company which makes tens of millions out of gamblers and this is a way to hook new ones in. If you win, they'll suspend your account, if you lose, they'll let you play for as long as you want. Not really something Mark should be endorsing really, irrelevant of how much he gets from it, the only black stain against what is a wonderful site.

I think such accusations are a bit dodgy. I worked for a.n.other bookies and they gave free bets etc but there was no trick up their sleeves. The attitude was give them a bit and they'll get hooked. If the free bet wins that is often money well spent.

That's how I would have thought it worked, get them in with a nice offer and inflate their sense of being able to gamble successfully. Then over time recoup the payout of the first offer.

I worked at their offices in Euston. If you find the notion of consistent winning accounts being limited to £0 bets i.e. having their accounts closed, then the semantics of how a bookmaker works and makes money may be lost on you.

If you are a gambler you're going to gamble. These companies lose out on the offers to most people, if you're clever about it. Gambling is a form of economics, risk v reward. And so is life, hence why I think it should be taught in schools.

I would not double up. They have some nice games but the fixtures are not great.

Out of 10 my current WC (or even betterr any advice).

    Boruc Mcgregor
    Vert, Enrique, Coleman, Clyne, Turner
    Oscar, Michu, Ramsey, Barkley, Whittingham
    Suarez, Sturridge, Giroud.

    Suarez > Rooney next week.

Plus... who to bench, Barkley or Whittingham?

Yeah plus benteke is coming back. long term i think its lukaku / benteke / suarez or sturridge.

Depending on Rooney i might put Lukaku in next week.

I've got Wilson ahead of Coleman on my bench at the moment. I'm predicting a Fulham win, but it could equally be nothingy 0-0.

This Paddy Power special is much worse news than Moyes lack of knowledge, they always get away with these damn specials 🙁
Rooney blank a certainty now 🙁

Or they know he will play. Look at it like this, if 100 new users take up the offer and win then they'll think this betting lark is fairly easy. Even if Paddy Power only get 25 or 30 of them to keep betting they'll easily recoup what they paid out on this offer and profit.

They used to just give you a free bet of 20-50 quid, now they pick the selection for you, b'stards.
I've kept an eye on these promos and they rarely have to payout on them.

      B i reckon.

surely seems wrong to take a 4 point hit for a player playing the same team?

sorry...that was confusing. I meant i'd be wary of taking a 4 point hit to double up. Might well pay off, but it's a one week punt

+Soldado got a decent chance vs. WHU

Agree the (c) for Suarez makes a difference though

      I'd be tempted by C) GW7: Soladao -> Lukaku -4

Soldado has no form, Lukaku has all of it. West Ham aren't scoring away, but they're not a push over. City look shaky and Everton are their bogey team.

      But I'd probably go B
