FFS Paddy Power Cup IX and Members Cup IV – Second Round Draws

We roll out the draw for the Second of the Fantasy Football Scout Cup IX and Members Cup IV, as sponsored by Paddy Power, after the First Round took place over Gameweek 28. Please not that, as explained in this initial article, these ties won’t take place until Gameweek 30 due to the numerous blanks in the fixture schedule this weekend:

In the Fantasy Football Scout IX, reigning champion Tdubb05 is through to the next round and will face Denis Denis when the action resumes. Looking at some of the other former champions, MCH takes on BroTown_Tindersticks, Jonty is up against coletrickle88, donnellyc squares up to Carlton Palmer and Gooner Dave takes on Fitzy.

The tie of the round sees two of the top 500 FPL managers go head-to-head.Skeptical, currently sitting in 136th spot in the overall standings, take on Lardy, who isn’t far behind in 470th spot.

You can click here to check out the second round draw, which gets underway next weekend, whilst the full list of first round results can be found here.

In the Members Cup IV, reigning champion Acqufresca fell at the first hurdle. He was knocked out by Caladan Brood, who now faces Quite Big Dunc next time around, whilst another former winner, Fuzzy Dunlop, takes on Droginexile. The top-ranked manager is 2nd Man – currently sitting in 380th overall, he’s up against Fitzy (39,504) for a place in the next round.

You can click here to check out the second round draw, which gets underway next weekend, whilst the full list of first round results can be found here.

As always, good luck to all those still in with a shout of the silverware.

Would anyone here argue that England looked a lot better when Rooney was off the pitch? I thought we were a lot more fluid and likely to score without him. Everyone says he is a world class player - that is undeniable. However, his style of play means sacrifices elsewhere. I just think we are a better team without him (and I've been arguing the same with United lately as well).

He could also ruin his career by becoming a sub for a big team and never getting a game. I think he should stick with leicester if they go up, play a season in the prem and get his experience.

If he's good enough the big clubs will come calling. If he isn't then it isn't meant to be but need to see him in the prem first and see how he does before a big prem club would take a chance on him

You obviously think I'm being partisan. Not at all.

Welbeck is purely impact and has done well for England. Cole would only be a backup anyway so might as well take Shaw. Carrick possibly as backup to Gerrard although by no means a shoe in and definitely not Cleverley.

Chelsea double will only last until the DGW for me.
Might even grab Baines the week before for Ivan in case he shoots up in value.

Got to afford SAS and get Yaya back in….

The problem with the youngsters is they try to do too much themselves, their decision making is poor, Barkley has some future but too many times this season he's tried to carry Everton on his back, and as a result nothing actually happens due to him losing possession or trying to beat that extra man.

    Hazard. Lallana. Mata. Noone
    Ade

Subs. Chester. Yaya. Coleman. Sturridge. Suarez. Kos

    0.9 in bank

    A) kos > vidic
