As part of our revamped Scout Picks, Mark, myself, Paul and a community champion picked by you each week are up against each other. All four teams are then used to decide our final weekly Scout Picks.

We are now looking for Gameweek 11’s Scout Picks Community Champion to represent you and get one over on The Scouts as well as be in with a chance of winning a special prize. The champion who manages the best Gameweek score (or best score from the first ten matches in a double Gameweek) will win a £100 Amazon voucher.

To put yourself forward simply add in your Gameweek 11 Scout Picks here. For everyone else please upvote the poster you would like to represent you based on their picks. Please try to keep all discussion about the vote to this article and avoid spam canvassing, as it could prove counterproductive to your chances.

We only need 11 picks and please be mindful of budget. We are sticking to a budget of 83.5m. There’s no captain in the picks either and please stick to a designated FPL formation, including no more than three players from one team.

I’ll leave this vote for 24 hours and come back at 10am tomorrow (Tuesday) to find out who is the community’s choice.

Once selected I’ll need you to email me at jonty@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk with your final scout picks and 200 word explanation (I’m happy to take bullet points) by Thursday 5pm at the latest. There is time to alter based on injuries on Friday daytime – just keep me updated by email. If your champion fails to submit their final team by this time then an assistant from our team of moderators and contributors will step in.

Any attempts to disrupt the voting process may lead to the team involved being removed at our discretion.

Finally, here’s an updated on Gameweek 10’s picks so far. It has been another good week for the Community Picks with Gameweek 10 Champion Magerost netting 72. This is higher than Paul’s 69 and Mark’s 64, although both our Scouts have Crystal Palace players to play tonight. So far I’ve topped the gameweek with 95. In addition, Magerost now has the highest gameweek score of our champions so far and is in the driving seat to snatch the £100 Amazon voucher.

Going into tonight’s final match of the Gameweek here is the running total: Jonty 609, Mark 602, Paul 587, Community 487.

Probably too late to change it now but doesn't it make more sense to give the prize to someone who beats the 3 of you rather than whoever got lucky and picked a high scoring gw? And you could check the margin of victory (over 2nd place or sum all three) to decide between those who've managed to come first.

There is every chance that won't happen. It has yet to happen...in fact I'm not sure anyone has managed to beat two of us yet so far. We wanted to give a prize and this way there is a definite prize. Its something we can maybe revisit next season though.

    Foster
    Baines - Bertrand - Tomkins
Sanchez - Di Maria - Mane - Downing
    Aguero - Pelle - Valencia

    Value - 83.5 exactly

Foster has a good home game and should at least get some save points.

The defenders all have good fixtures and a strong attacking threat.

Sanchez and Di Maria pick themselves. Mane should start and has a great fixture to finally deliver on his threat. Downing has the perfect combination of form and fixture.

Aguero and Pelle are obvious picks this week and Valencia has the form and fixture to run riot on Saturday.

If Sakho is proven fit then I'd probably swap Mane and Valencia to Tadic and Sakho.

    Forster (LEI)
Trippier (HUL) - Cresswell (AVL) - Baines (sun)
Di Maria (CRY) - Sanchez (swa) - Mane (LEI) - Chadli (STK)
Aguero (qpr) - Pelle (LEI) - Sakho (AVL)

All pretty self-explanatory picks who have good form and fixtures. Exactly 83.5m.

      Not bad
But don't like your explanation at "form AND fixture". Should be an OR rather than AND

      Trippier. Form?
Cresswell. 1 CS from 10 matches.
      Sakho. Doubtful fitness
      Mane. Doubtful for start (atm)

Have had a go for 3 weeks but get outvoted by long post with fairly similar team or anti-vote. would be nice if i finally get a chance 🙂

basically just gone for a simple team with a mixture of form + fixtures

    Foster

    bertrand Baines McNair*

    Tadic Sanchez DI maria Chadli

    Sakho* Pelle Aguero

*Sakho and McNair become Collins and Berhino if ruled out/other defenders return. downing also makes way for chadli if skaho is out

    Adrian 5 (AVL)
Baines 7.2 (sun) Bertrand 5.5 (LEI) Azpilicueta 6 (liv)
Di Maria 10.1 (CPL) Sanchez 10.5 (swa) Downing 5.8 (AVL) Chadli 6.5 (STO)
Aguero 12.6 (qpr) Sakho 5.8 (AVL) Pelle 8.4 (LEI)

    83.5

Adrian: Villa have scored 1 goal in their last 6 games and Benteke is suspended.

Baines: Attacking returns and/or clean sheet in 7 of his last 8 games.

Bertrand: Best defense in the league as well as decent attacking threat.

Azpilicueta: Liverpool can't score at the moment and being an away game Jose will setup his team for a clean sheet.

Di Maria: Juicy home fixture, on set pieces and most of United's attack goes through him.

Sanchez: Irresistible form and central to everything Arsenal do.

Downing: On form and playing in the number 10 role behind two very clinical strikers.

Chadli: Spurs top goal scorer hosting a Stoke side that can't seem to keep a clean sheet.

Aguero: Best striker in the league playing the worst defense in the league.

Sakho: Should shake off the injury and continue his recent run of goals.

Pelle: An absolute beast with quality midfielders giving him great service. At home to an out of sorts Leicester.

Thanks for your time, send a vote my way if you like what you see! Cheers.

Copycat! Only differences your Bertrand and Foster to my Trippier and Forster. I've been impressed with Newcastle's form lately so I think they'll score against WBA. Trippier's attacking threat and Hull's lack of goal threat with Jelavic and co out made me opt for him.

Come here to discredit my post? 🙄

        You cheeky b*st*rd 😉

        Foster's save points > Forster

        Bertrand's crossing targets > Trippier's """"

West Brom defence > Burnley's defence. Broms have more cleanies 😉

Hull have Abel Hernandez though....he's a top notch striker.

Fancied giving this a bash this week, see if we can’t redress some that huge deficit! I think many have tried too hard, so Ive attempted to keep it simple:

    Forster
    Baines Cresswell Clyne
    Di Maria Sanchez Chadli Downing
    Sakho Aguero Pelle

Forster – plum home fixture against Leicester for the stand out defence of the season so far

Baines – expect him to feature in most picks and game vs struggling Sunderland is a no-brainer.

Cresswell – home game for the Hammers against a Villa who dont look like scoring. Plus he carries a decent assist threat too!

    Clyne – see Forster!

Di Maria – home to Palace and Di Maria has continued to get shots in on goal looks primed for a decent haul

Sanchez – again after back to back braces its hard to argue against him - so here he is!

Chadli – Spurs haven’t quite clicked yet, but that hasn’t stopped Nacer Chadli from racking up some decent returns for a mid priced at just 6.5m (in fact tied with Siggy and Downing on 54)

Downing – which brings me neatly to my final midfield pick, a resurgent Stuart Downing, currently pulling all the strings in a West Ham side with a nice home fixture

Aguero – another no brainer, far and away the leading forward pick for my money and an away game to QPR should bring rewards.

Pelle – Southamptons main goal threat at home to Leicester? Yes please!

Sakho – another from the rejuvenated West Ham side and a veritable bargain for 5.8m at home to a struggling Villa.

I think this little lot comes in at a rather attractive 83.2m . Thanks to anyone who deems my lot worthy of a vote 🙂

      Explanation regarding my choices:-

      DEF
      1) Jakupovic - I fancy Hull to keep Burnley down. They even kept Soton quite this week and with Burnely struggling for goals I fancy a CS for Hull plus he is the main reason I can afford such a good team.

      2) Clyne - Plum fixture at home to Leicester who are really struggling atm. Looks primed for points at both ends of the pitch.

      3) Cresswell - Even though Villa scored yesterday against Spurs, with Benteke suspended I cant see them scoring at Wham, also Wham have Kouyate who has returned recently and are in great form.

      4) Baines - He's been on fire last few weeks and goes away to struggling Sunderland. Looks primed to bring home the points yet again.

      MID
      5) ADM - 2 consecutive blanks but arguably against the best 2 teams in the league. Hosting Palace at home with his stats looking so good and looking the main threat for Utd, ADM seems primed to get back into the points against Palace at home.

      6) Sanchez - He picks himself as he is the man on form and has returned double figure hauls for the past 3 weeks. He simply cannot be ignored atm.

      7) Tadic - His underlying stats are decent and he hosts a struggling Leicester at home. I fancy him over Mane due to security of starts and the fact that he is on set-piece duty.

      8) Downing - Will be buoyant after this weekend's haul away to Stoke. Has some great stats and good form and seems to be highly involved in everything Wham do this season. Also hosts his former team who are struggling and will be keen to impress yet again.

      9) Berahino - Hosts a resurgent Newc at home but has been in good form and also on penalties. Can't see Newc keeping them out and Berahino should be the main man to lead the attack.
[Could change To Sakho(5.8) depending on Team news on Friday]

      10) Pelle - In great goalscoring form and against Leicester at home, Pelle looks good to bring home the points. Could be a massive haul. He is the centre of everything for a Soton who sit pretty almost at the top of the table.

      11) Aguero - In devastating form and the main man for Title challinging City. Even though away to an improved QPR, he is too good to be shut out.

My Result for GW10 Picks - 77 points with Speroni and Campbell yet to play. I believe that's pretty good.

Sorry for the long post. Please do vote if you like the team 🙂

    Hart
    Bertrand - Collins - Chambers - Jagielka
Tadic - Fabregas - Sanchez - Di Maria
    Berahino - Aguero

Wanted to mix mine up a bit, primarily bringing in a Man City defender but Joe Hart seems to be the only regular starter besides Kompany! The rest is all fairly bog standard. Kept in Fabregas because no Chelsea coverage just seems strange, no matter the opposition.

Ok first time trying this and even though I am really popular on here I want you to vote on merit not just cause I am mans best friend

Forster- double up on spton defence cause they are a bit good
Fonte- due a goal from set pieces
Cresswell- most attacking whu defender and opponents have no chance of scoring
    Baines- well he is baines
    Mane- ride that spton wave
Noble- due another few set piece points, and opponents have lost some height
Fabs- the man that always gives
Sanchez- you just got to have him
    Aguero- will rip QPR apart
Pelle- remember the spton wave? Surfs up dude
    Sahko- against terrible defence

And a little bit to spare
    Here
    Is
    Some more

Mid - Sanchez Alexis, Di Maria, Chadli, Diame (Hull)
Fw - Aguero, Enner Valencia, Pelle

Clyne, Lloris and Jenkinson are playing at home against teams which haven't scored that many goals this season, especially Villa, which have scored only 5 and Jenkinson and West Ham is due a clean sheet. Clyne is there just because Southampton is on a roll and I wouldn't be surprised to see clean sheet against Leicester.Baines is just Baines, he has assist potential and goals, not just clean sheet availability and Lloris plays against Stoke which should be an easy match.

Sanchez and Di Maria of course are in my opinion must haves, while Chadli is at home and seems to still be in form. Diame is maybe unexpected pick but he seems decent by his previous results and I think Hull City will try their best to win at Burnley.

Aguero is a must, especially against QPR which I don't rate that good defensively. Pelle is at home and as he hasn't scored in last 2, I think he will here, while Enner Valencia, while Sakho is gone, is main attacking threat for West Ham.

Only player I considered besides these was Rooney, but he was too expensive to make a balanced team.

Bego , Spurs not very good at home Bego is due a CS differential too
Duff - Burnley capable of being resolute need to shut these fixtures out if they want to stay up
Creswell / Shaw both bombardier full backs with tasty homes with good chancing of CS and assist as play in high scoring teams
Laarson is a hunch , a little free kick or lovely through ball or both to ignite the SoL
Tadic to steal the show v weak Leicster, due a pen too
Downing fast becoming ' thee ' cheap 4th mid , in a free scoring West Ham he will be involved in most
Hazard is finding form on Pens and Liverpool leaky
Valencia is 100 percent fir and raring to go and reminds of a young christiano

I see saints keepingwhich cs at home against a Leicester side who are playing miserably.

So both Bertrand and Forster are part of my team with pelle bringing up attacking returns..
Tadic ..mane and schneiderlein are doing immensely well to spread the ball and deliver..
I see hull keeping quiet A side like Burnley who

Have been bad going forward all season..

ines in my opinion is the essential player for the week..been delivering assists at random.. Been the show horse at everton .and Everton have started to show strength at home.. I cannot see them conceding at A Sunderland side who have been abysmal..I do not see anyone stepping up and doing the duty like Adam Johnson did in the latter half of last season

Di maria was one of the major reasons why united have been good this season and expect a big haul and deliver the goods against a palace side who have been quiet avg..

              Alexis Sanchez needs no explanation..
Downing and sakho are up against a villa side who have looked quite fragile since last 6 ggames.

      4. QPR expects... glory!

Here's the real deal. It's all about the points, note just the names 🙂

Jakupovic - Burnley are terrible and Hull can grab a cleanie
Coleman - cheaper than Baines but deadlier in front of goal and a bap magnet
Robertson - doubling up on Hull and ready for another haul
        C. Dawson - WBA back line is solid and he's a threat on set pieces
Downing - a man in the form that made him an England regular!
Di Maria - Palace not defending set pieces well
Aguero, Hazard and Sànchez - picking themselves 🙂
Pellé - man with form and the C band for many next week
Berahino - form and fixtures make him a resounding 'yes'

was worried coleman was the opposite of a bap magnet going into last gw. not sure it's enough to label him as such yet. 0-0s are rare scores for roberto martinez teams

noticed a slight flaw in the system last gw. the community team had mané in as those teams are picked at the start of the gameweek. of course by thursday friday we knew he was a big doubt to start. i understand it is easier to get the process open nice and early in the week but in terms of the competition slant on it the playing field isn't as even as it could be.
apologies if i've rumbled the house secret 😉

Don't they have option to change it nearer time?
Which does make a mockery of the voting if the team ends up different

The champion has to submit his final team to Jonty later in the week, so he has the option of making changes to his original offering.

A couple of weeks ago, Muppet came very close to winning the vote with a joke protest team, but came back later to say that if he had won the vote he would actually have replaced it with a very sensible team.

So we can't be certain what team our champion will later send to Jonty, but we usually expect it to be pretty similar to the one the champion originally put forward for our consideration.

I also suspected that the Scouts might have the advantage of submitting their teams a little later than our champion does - and also the advantage of having seen our champion's likely team before they submit their own choices.

Judging by previous weeks it would not be to our advantage to copy the community's teams. 😉

Also I do my first draft of a team Monday morning usually before the vote...it rarely changes - only usually to do with injuries.

Champions have the option of changing - the one we get from them by end of Thursday usually takes into account injury news etc. Mane was on the mend so Magerost was keen to keep. Champions can change one or two players on Friday as well if injury news breaks.

Thanks, Jonty. I had wondered whether our champion was able to make late changes on the Friday in the event of late injury news.

I suppose we just have to trust our Champions to behave reasonably, as I think all our Champions have done so far.

Do Paul, Mark and yourself all have to submit their teams by the same Thursday evening deadline as our Champion, with changes after that only being allowed for Friday's injury updates?

Do the punts and differentials articles come out in time for you to include some of their suggestions in your team before this deadline?

If a team is within budget on Thursday, but overnight price rises cause it to exceed 83.5m on Friday, does the team have to be changed to reduce its value?

And following on from the earlier suggestion of awarding the prize to the champion who beats the Scouts by the biggest margin, perhaps that might give a strange result if the winner turned out to be our Champion for a game-week in which all but one or two matches were postponed. It might be nice to have an additional prize for a champion who beats all three Scouts though.

Yep we all submit at the same time Thurs 5pm...but as said earlier I tend to have my team sorted bar injuries early in the week.
