With many Premiership bosses allowing their second string players to stretch their Carling Cup legs in midweek, we can expect a whole world of changes to the various lineups going into the weekend fixtures.
The latest considerations include the fitness of van der Sar, Robinson, Arteta and Bullard, along with the now weekly debate on who will start in the United lineup – right now I’m leaning towards Ronaldo on the bench again. That will doubtless change on several occasions over the next 24 hours or more once Ferguson hand’s us some more clues.
