Back in first team action after the FA Cup break, myself and Granville make a return to the studio to pour some more of our fantasy football themed drivel into your ears.

Another podcast is born then, making it out into the world just in time for the warm-up for the opening games of the midweek gameweek.

This week I’m revelling in a twenty point mini-league gap that separates myself and Granny, after McCarthy and Gamst-Pedersen did the business for me last time out. I spare Granny for a while though, teasing him with a look back at the weekend’s cup action and another peer through the frosted glass of the transfer window. Plus there’s the usual preview of the coming gameweek fixtures in midweek.

The mini-league gloating dominates proceedings though – with Granville’s knee jerking at the thought of my new lead. Yep, he plays his joker – or rather his wildcard. It’s panic button time for the Mancunian moaner but does this mean no Ronaldo for the lifelong United fan? Surely not?

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.
