Granville and I are back once again to pour more fantasy football murmurings into your ears via the podcast, or ScoutCast as it’s affectionately known.
In this, the first episode of the season proper, my mini-league gloating is put into context by Granville as the reality dawns that my seven team sure thing accumulator with bezzie mates Paddy Power, fell at the last hurdle at Anfield on Monday. Granny forces me to shamefully ‘walk alone’ after I turned my back on his sage-like advice and lay off the bet. Back in fantasy football land, the usual banter ensues, with Granny already feeling hard done by – new season, same old woes. Even the new contributors, wildcard boyz Andy and Foch, don’t escape the butt of the joke as they fail to take advantage in their respective H2H league games against us.
