The five game ticker and monthly picks have been updated earlier today, bringing you a viewpoint on some mid-term player tips.

In the main, I’ll leave it to you to soak up and analyse the information on offer, although here’s a quick blast of things to consider: Everton, City, Burnley, Spurs, United and Arsenal appear to have handy looking fixtures over the next five. In contrast, the likes of Blackburn, Bolton, Fulham, Stoke, West Ham and Liverpool appear to have it rather stiff.

Notably, that all sees Burnley’s Jensen, Alexander, Elliot and Nugent ascend the monthly rankings. Baines, Evra and Lescott are the big climbers in defence. Tottenham’s Lennon, City’s midfield and Everton’s Cahill and Pienaar look healthy in midfield. Finally Defoe and Rooney benefit from good fixtures and the uncertainty over Drogba’s calf injury, to rank top of the forwards. Bellamy and Van Persie are also climbers here.

These picks will be updated day-to-day as injury and team news creeps in throughout the week, so keep your eyes on the right-hand menu for the very latest.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.
