Good morning folks. We’re approaching another fantasy deadline, so it’s time to discuss all those last minute dilemmas. Double gameweek dilemmas.

For my part, I’m currently deliberating a gamble on Agbonlahor up front. That would mean turning my back on Darren Bent who is reportedly fit to take the field against the West Ham defence today. It would be a risk and Bent has a habit of hurting me – scoring when I sell him; doing very little when I have nestled in my lineup. Agbonlahor is a big temptation for me though. In the Scout Picks this week and certain of two starts against the Everton and West Ham defences. At least one goal looks likely, while four FPL points are more or less guaranteed…

The fitness of Burnley’s Brian Jensen holds the key. There is still significant doubt that he will start in goal at Turf Moor against Hull City. If he doesn’t, I’ve got Wolves’ Hennessey in my nets against Stoke. Not a comfortable situation. The national newspapers that I’ve seen this morning, all tip Jensen to start. That would mean I don’t have to use my transfer to bring in Sorensen for the gameweek. Right now then, with just under an hour to go before the deadline, the Agbonlahor for Bent gamble is still on.

What’s you thinking this drizzly Saturday morning?

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.
