The saga continues. Following Chelsea’s 0-0 draw away at Birmingham today Carlo Ancelotti revealed a rather interesting, and somewhat surprising, little nugget of news. It seems like Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou are now going to be available for Chelsea’s fixture at home to Fulham on Monday…

Now there’s a turn up for the books after all the previous reports coming out of the respective Chelsea and Ivory Coast camps. About the two players staying until December 29th Ancelotti said:

“We asked the national team and the coach agreed with us.”

So then, those of you who were previously looking to offload Drogba with his departure to the African Cup of Nations in mind – it looks like you may now have the option to play him when in gameweek 20 when Chelsea entertain Fulham. Oh, and all seven of you Kalou owners – the same can be said for you too.
