After the slim pickings on offer yesterday, hopefully the three remaining gameweek five fixtures can help us fantasy managers amass a meaningful score today.

The first of two televised games is usually one of the tastiest of the season. Old Trafford is the venue and Manchester United and Liverpool are the teams.

Unsurprisingly, both teams have restored the majority of players rested midweek in Europe. From United’s last league outing at Goodison Park, Wayne Rooney returning in place of Gary Neville is the only change, and there’s no place in the squad for Rio Ferdinand.

As for Liverpool, Joe Cole’s Premier League suspension has been served, and he comes in for Milan Jovanovic. The only other change from last Sunday’s visit to St. Andrews is Raul Meireles coming in for Lucas Leiva.

The full line-ups for the 1:30pm kick-off are as follows…

Man Utd XI: Van der Sar, O’Shea, Vidic, Jonathan Evans, Evra, Nani, Fletcher, Scholes, Giggs, Berbatov, Rooney

Liverpool: Reina, Johnson, Carragher, Skrtel, Konchesky, Meireles, Poulsen, Maxi, Gerrard, Cole, Torres

Completing Sky’s quota of Premier League games for the weekend is in-form Blackpool’s trip to the champions Chelsea. This is where the majority of fantasy managers will be looking for big points from the likes of Didier Drogba and Florent Malouda. That game kicks off at 4pm.

In the midst of those two games is the 3pm game at the DW Stadium between Wigan Athletic and Manchester City.

The Dugout Discussion is open and awaits your participation, in what promises to be a day with plenty of talking points.
