Gameweek Ten rolls on with our brief heads-up to Managers in the Metro Fantasy Football game that our “Picks” for the weekend are now live.

Once more we have chosen three “Bankers”, two “Punts” and one form player who has been “Bubbling Under” and threatens a major points haul. This week’s selections can be found here, but, as usual, we’d like to take this opportunity to mention a couple of players on the periphery who may also be worthy of consideration…

Unsurprisingly, there are some obvious selections who miss out, simply because team-mates offer stronger alternatives. Samir Nasri plays second fiddle to the maestro Cesc Fabregas, but remains a very promising proposition at home to the lowly Hammers; the same can be said for Dimitar Berbatov, looking to put his old club Spurs to the sword at Old Trafford in his usual languid, shoulder shrugging way.

It’s the “Punts” that spark the gamblers chance of course and, as always, there are plenty of contenders who just missed the cut. I see Richard Dunne burying the ghost of Gameweek last and notching strong defensive returns in Sunday’s local derby, while recent Watchlist favourite, Kevin Nolan, may turn some of his promising shooting stats into points in his own derby encounter against the Black Cats. I’ve also got an unhealthy hunch about Louis Saha’s prospects – 75% fit and in line to feature at home to Stoke.

Metro Managers can of course ignore these outlandish predictions and head on over to this link to discover which six men earned this week’s nominations.

      Alright people

Have I got these in the right order? Want Fabregas but want to keep Nasri so going to work on a way to upgrade N’Zog to Fabs in a few weeks while downgrading a Jaask, Jones & Carroll.

      Jaask

      Elmo, Coleman, Dann

Malouda, N’Zog, Nasri (c), Nani, VDV

      Drogba, Berba

      Subs: Foster, Carroll, Williamson, Jones

You really have to play Carroll at home. They'll probably win which could mean bonus points too..I'd bench N'Zog

Good luck with it, he could be a good signing. Believe me I don't think he is a BAD player, on the contrary he has done well to prove the opposite - just seems like very early days for all the rampant excitement. Thought about him myself for the Spurs game but two Mancs up top is overkill, going to go for Yak or Saha I think

Ah yeah, you should understand the rampant excitement is a big birdie sign to the gooners (and jamsiep) who were slagging him off when utd signed him.

Yeah he is probably dumb enough to do that, there you go again trying to kill someone. Just put phone in a dessicator with some activated dessicant such as Atilla said silica gel or activated Calcium chloride. Heating the phone is not advised in a any form. I should really let you take Katie's advice but you might be just a little Irish kid so dessicator and dessicant under vacuum if possible.

      Mignolet (foster)

      Cole, mummy, coleman (jara, crainy)
      Fabs, VDV, Nani, nzog, adam
      Drogs (tevez, odemwingie)

(final starter will be jara or odem depending on odem's health).

Thinking of an 8 pint hit - do i dump tevez. nzog and cole for bosingwa, malouda, and elmander? perhaps even nasri instead of malouda? or just wait for ctev to come back into the fold and stay with an in form nzog?
