As dust settles from the latest Fantasy Premier League (FPL) deadline, first up today is Tottenham Hotspur’s trip to the Reebok Stadium to face Bolton Wanderers.

The team news for the 12:45pm game is in, and Harry Redknapp is forced to make changes as Aaron Lennon and Rafael Van der Vaart miss out as expected. Somewhat surprisingly though, in comes Niko Kranjcar and Sandro.

For Bolton, they name an unchanged side from the one that lost 1-0 at home to Liverpool last week.

The full line-ups are as follows…

Bolton Wanderers XI: Jaaskelainen, Steinsson, Knight, Cahill, Robinson, Lee, Holden, Muamba, Taylor, Elmander, K Davies.

Tottenham Hotspur XI: Gomes, Hutton, Kaboul, Gallas, Assou-Ekotto, Kranjcar, Palacios, Sandro, Bale, Modric, Crouch.

Then there’s a healthy dose of six afternoon Premier League games, for which we will all be nervously awaiting the team sheets. The games 3pm are West Ham’s visit to St. Andrews, Wigan Athletic’s short journey to Blackburn Rovers, Blackpool’s home game against Everton, Sunderland (without Darren Bent according to his Twitter account) hosting Stoke City, Aston Villa’s visit to Craven Cottage and last but by no means least is Manchester United’s second game at Old Trafford against Wolves in as many weeks.

There is no evening game today, well not in the Premier League at least. You could always watch Derby County Vs. Portsmouth or Cambridge United Vs. Huddersfield Town. Just saying.

            Giggs couldn't have played for England. He was born in Wales to Welsh parents.

            If he was born 15 years later, he could have, because he went to school in England for a considerable amount of time, but that rule only changed a few years ago.

            Bale is just Welsh.

                    Bale has an English grandparent and could've played for England if he wanted to.

                    If you're saying DB, that Rooney has an Irish grandparent, then yes, he could've played for Ireland.

                    All the other players has a basis for switching nationality be it
                    - actually get gametime
                    - living in the country a prolonged period of time

                    Bale has none of the above. Or do you think Bale born and bred in Cardiff should just go and play for England?

                    I think its a tad desperate that Wales have a young prospect who could go on the be a great player and everyone is saying "well he could have played for England".

                    Just because you're eligible for more than one country it doesn't mean you sit down and make a choice as to who is the best one. He plays for Wales because he loves being Welsh- I'd rather never play in a World Cup but be mighty proud of representing my country than jump ship to play in a WC but not really care for them.

    So I just checked out my rivals' transfers. One of them spent 4 points to do Rose (of Tottenham) for Diao (of Stoke). Could someone offer some explanation for this?         No but he can play in place of Bale, Lennon, Modric, VdV when they are injured or need a rest. Resting our best players will be important to keeping them all fit.

      Agree it's good that he's getting his game, but I think you overrate him.

      He's better than sitting on a bench, but I don't rate him as highly as many on here do.
