Once again we find ourselves watching the clock tick towards the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) deadline. With so many injuries to so many fantasy favourites (I count 98 players red or yellow flagged on FPL) most of us are having our hand forced into multiple transfers (none for me this week however). With the following FPL deadline just 80 hours after this one, sitting on your injured players is that little bit more difficult to do.

Then even if you manage to get the transfer(s) you want done, you still have the dilemma of which player to captain. And unless you have Cesc Fabregas (who is the clear leader of the Captain’s Poll this week with 33%), it’s a tricky decision to make…

As well as the Captain’s Poll to help you out, there is obviously the weekly Scout Picks to ponder, the Team News to digest, and the Watchlist (on the right-hand side of the site home page) is well worth a gander. You know the drill by now.

Still undecided? Then head to the Saturday Surgery, which is open for business right up to the deadline.

Also a quick reminder to our FFS Cup III participants, that the round four fixtures can be found via here.

Akers Richard or Akers, as he is known, has been regularly haunting this site since July 2008. He is young and foolish, take what he says with a pinch of salt. Follow them on Twitter

I have, for once, decided to not do any transfer. But maybe I should?
    Current team:
    Foster
    A. Cole | Alex | Salcido | Elmo
    Fabregas (C) | Nasri | Ferguson
    Drogba | Carroll | Elmander
SUBS: Hahnemann | Davies, Jose Enrique, Nani**

Have I done the right choices for the bench? Do I really need to make any transfers?

    I'll never know.

thats not a bad team mate considering youve made no transfers. Perhaps only possible one to make is to bring a Man U player in?

more than likely yeah, but he's got city and villa away, tough fixtures in quick succession.

I outed him for cahill, safe in the knowledge that I can get him back at will. (probably for malouda)

I'd go Coleman of the two.

I don't really rate Hutton and don't think he'll hold his place down for too long (though i actually have no idea when Corluka is back? - I wouldn't be surprised if Kaboul played RB though once one of their CDs returns).

Can't see a spurs cleanie this week either.

Harry has been saying for the past 3 weeks that Bale needs a rest and is running on empty. After playing at UTD and in mid-week, and considering they have a tougher game in mid-week coming up, this is the ideal game to rest him...

Key quote: "But Carroll is refusing to be put off and told The Sun: 'Cheryl is my dream woman. With all she's been through I think what she really needs is to return to her roots and get herself a good down-to-earth Geordie boyfriend."

Another key quote: "Carroll was recently arrested and bailed over accusations of attacking his teenage ex-girlfriend after she allegedly caught him having sex with another woman."
