Three games today to polish off gameweek 11, and if today is anything like yesterday, then good riddance as far as I’m concerned. Having said that, the six teams on show today have considerable investment around these parts, so perhaps a healthier score is a possibility.

First up is Newcastle United’s trip down to the Emirates to face Arsenal. To the relief of many a fantasy manager, The Gunner’s captain fantastic Cesc Fabregas is named in the starting line-up. Theo Walcott also starts at the expense of the Russian maestro Andrei Arshavin, who has some very interesting company on the pine, as Robin van Persie is named amongst the substitutes.

A positive line-up for The Toon, sees Shola Ameobi and Andy Carroll remain up front together after their prolific partnership in last week’s derby.

Here are the line-ups in full, and I’ve included the substitutes as that is arguably where the headline news is…

Arsenal XI: Fabianski, Sagna, Koscielny, Squillaci, Clichy, Song, Wilshere, Fabregas, Walcott, Chamakh, Nasri

Subs: Szczesny, Rosicky, van Persie, Djourou, Arshavin, Eboue, Bendtner

Newcastle XI: Krul, Simpson, Coloccini, Williamson, Jose Enrique, Barton, Tiote, Nolan, Gutierrez, Carroll, Ameobi

Subs: Soderberg, Campbell, Routledge, Lovenkrands, Smith, Steven Taylor, Ranger

Straight after that we go to Anfield to see Liverpool take on champions Chelsea at 4pm. Also, in the midst of those two games, West Brom host Man City at 3pm.

All today’s goings on can and will be discussed in the aptly-named Dugout Discussion. Enjoy.

    Any PC expert out there?
For some reason, if I click 'i' on a player on the ff website, half the time only the top bar with the player name comes up, and nothing else, and i have to refresh the page. Any idea what's wrong?

whats priceless abotu that goal too, izs they way the arsenal fans were whistling and laughing at carrol when he tried to control an overhead pass, and a swashbuckling run petered out in the face of overwhelming odds, yet the fooker kept getting up and trying. I LOVE IT when that shit gets thrown back in people's faces, LOVE IT.

The fact that he then scored a smashing header, after them laughing and jeering, has made my dull sunday afternoon a little brighter, my grapes have less pips in them, and my farts that bit less smellier.

    Toot on Carrol, toot on.

Reddan is a an absolute joke, Kidney showed a little naivety failing to make chages earlier yesterday, Bowe was excellent as per usual, ROG changed the game albeit that SA had made the changes thinking they had easily won. Strings should be starting scrum half in O'Leary's absence, better delivery, gets the back line moving 2-3 seconds quicker than Reddan and Boss, and people say Strings is not a danger from the back of the scrum/ruck, ya he's not, but neither are Reddan and Boss who think in their own heads they are. A very disappointing day for Irish rugby, we were very very poor.

Watching Chamakh fail miserably up front makes you realise how fecking brilliant RVP is.... Arsenal are a completely different outfit with him leading the line.

And Attila, whilst his ball retention has been virtually flawless, I'm sure you can attribute Fabregas' ineffectiveness to the marking of Tioté. Not at all in fact, Fabregas is just having a mare of his own accord.

For the last couple of seasons, I have always been the one not to have Fabregas for his big points hauls, now that I have him for the past two weeks, he is not the same Fabregas, not fully match fit it seems and looking very like he will get me 4 points as captain again this week. Friends who don't have him, and 2 in particular who forgot to do their teams this weekend still have Drogba (C) and will most likely benefit from their ignorance, which is very frustrating!

45 minutes for Fabregas to do something, please, please Cesc.

This is what is both brilliant and utterly frustrating about football and FPL. Hernandez, Fabregas and Chamakh all SHOULD have been fantastic bets for this week. And yet combined they could end up with 5 points between them all. And then some noddy who doesnt look at the fixtures, doesnt keep upto date with injury news, form guides or read OPTA stats extensively has Berbatov upfront because he likes his hair and Kevin Davies as a sub because his last name is also Davies and gets a massive points haul as a result.
