Just 16 ties to look at as the Fantasy Football Scout Cup III, sponsored by Paddy Power, goes midweek for the first time. To see exactly what the draw has thrown out, click here. As you’ll seem, there are still plenty of big names left challenging for the title…

Last week’s top-scorer Gazzamania has a tough match-up against DRP, who sits just 5 points behind him overall.

Soup or Man will be looking to continue his good form (five straight green arrows), when he takes on 100k+ ranked Back to Back Ballacks.

Another recognisable name in the fifth round is Anorak, who has his work cut out against a highly-ranked opponent olive.

After eliminating Granville, Chris81 will once again have to beat the odds to overcome top 8k ranked DaFoe22. Another Scout killer, tippman, is still in the mix and takes on Unwillingplayer.

Site favourite bill badger is a huge underdog this week, as he has been handed a tie with round three top-scorer and 12th in the world, Ann_der_roo.

Ann_der_roo is clearly the highest-ranked participant in round five, but the unfortunate title of lowest-ranked goes to Manif, who is the true underdog of the competition. Sitting at a season-best 328,067th in the world, he’ll have to continue to upset the apple cart to see off atx1303, who is ranked a good 100k+ places above him.

All fixtures are to be played over gameweek 12 (starting tonight). Good luck to all 32 fantasy managers left in the competition, and remember that a free £25 bet, courtesy of Paddy Power, is available as always to the top-scorer this round.

Akers Richard or Akers, as he is known, has been regularly haunting this site since July 2008. He is young and foolish, take what he says with a pinch of salt. Follow them on Twitter

Spent yesterday convinced I'd get an edge on everyone by giving the armband to Bale. Then looked at Sunderland's defensive record (Toon glitch aside), and the fact that Crouch is too shit to do anything with Bale's crosses, and decided on Malouda, for the differential.

Then I noticed Drogba has scored nine goals in his past six games at the Bridge.

May have to follow the herd on this one...

      P.S. Not f*cking Fabregas - that's the only thing I'm sure about.

Did they? I mean that Sunderland will most likely double up defensively on Bale, especially if VDV is out... Elmohamady has a good engine on him and is competent defensively so I'd imagine that he'll help Onouha out considerably, in a way Biabiany didn't.

I'd have thought Carlo would do one, but from a glance at the Chelsea website I can't find anything about it.

Bosingwa will most probably start. If you have him already then definitely start him, but I wouldn't be too quick to transfer him in...

It's the typical way of getting around the transfer window - loan with a view to a permanent transfer, but it's a done deal apparently.

Undsiclosed - but Luton increased their bid 3 times and Lawless said he wanted to go so we had no choice.

I rate him, but the more worrying thing is we have always been a selling club but not other conference clubs. We've now sold our 2 best players (Brodie & Lawless) to conference teams.

We will be part time in 2 years.

this is my least favourite type of week...the gamble is more will a player play rather than will he score.

got Oshea/Nani/Berbs as maybes and Jara definitely out.

I was all set to do Nani out for VDV.Nzog...anyone who will score me some points, but now I think I may just sit tight. the hint of Nani playing os good enough for me. If I can get 11 out and have two playable subs then I may just keep my transfers.

as ever, 50 -50. If I'm going to make a change later I suspect it will Oshea out for Coleman/distin. I'm more inclined to go for distin as more of a long term prospect. This week has shown me that 50-50 players are a liability.

He was unlucky not to score more than he did but also out of form, if you've got Drogba he is the right and safe choice.

Quite. See Tiote is leading the passing stakes at the moment for the league:

i have 2 trades up my sleeve but have no clue were to use them..

i cant decide whether to keep hernandez or not, im eventually going to removing him for hopefully tevez but that will mean ill have to downgrade jags to possibly simpson, (which isnt ideal).

I may as well use my 1 trade as it would be a waste not to..

should i get rid of little pea for someone, (under 9mill)

or get rid of jara for some cheap defender.?

Despite my pitiful score last week, it seems like I have a popular team at the moment. Transfers in outnumber transfers out by over 5 to 1 for players in my team and most of the outs are Drogba, Fabregas and Malouda who are clearly people who have no idea what they are doing.

Because Fulham are solid defensively, and don't carry too much of a threat going forward....

Carlo lavished praise on Bosingwa a couple of weeks ago, hinting that he'll play a significant part this season, so he'll definitely get games, and tomorrow seems an ideally one to play him in.

Keep it on Drogba or get very drunk this afternoon and take this week's top gamble. Piquionne in and with the handband.

I'm not brave enough...but something (woman's intuition) tells me that it is a ballsy move that could prove fruitful.

I'll talk you out of it. Poor little lamb has got a cold so he might only play 10 minutes against a team that Carlo probably thinks he can beat with Anelka and Kalou = 1 point multiplied by a factor of 2 = 2 juicy points.

Malouda, on the other hand, will hopefully return to form and bag a brace in this 4-0 Drogba-less romp.

      Swaying?
