John Terry returns for Chelsea to replace Alex at the back who has gone under the knife for his knee injury. Frank Lampard remains sidelined. Phil Jagielka is a doubt for opponents Everton ahead of the Stamford Bridge clash. Samir Nasri is fit to take his place in the Arsenal side as they prepare for the visit of Fulham. Michael Dawson is back in the Spurs squad with Harry Redknapp hinting at a bench role for the trip to Birmingham. The home side will be without Alexander Hleb as he faces a three-week absence with a hamstring injury. Morten Gamst-Pedersen is fit to resume his strong run of form for Blackburn against Wolves at Ewood…

All that lot, plus plenty of other crumbs of knowledge from around the Premier League press conferences have been collected for you and placed lovingly in our Team News section, along with our predicted lineups. We will keep you updated on any fresh stuff via our Twitter feed.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Can you guys please give me a quick sanity check... Would it be absolutely crazy to take a 4 point hit to do Boateng > Kolarov ?

    Pros:
    - Kolarov better attacking potential
    - Kolarov should get full 90 minutes
    - Even if City get a clean sheet, Boateng may not be on for the 60 minutes needed to get the points
    - If Boateng doesn't play, and the Blackpool Man U game is called off, I'm not going have a full team to play. With Kolarov I’d just make a full 11.
    - The swap is a long-term move, so the hit will be balanced out against future Kolarov profits

    Cons:
    - Bolton could easily score, so neither would get the clean sheet points.
    - Boateng could be played all game and scoop a lucky assist etc, leaving me cursing my foolishness.

    Any thoughts? Thanks.

Depends if Boateng looks like playing. If not, hit it. If he looks odds on to start, just leave it.

    My team:
    Carson / Foster
    Coleman / Hutton / Simpson / Foley / Konchesky
    Cahill / Jarvis / Fabregas / Vdv / Nani
    Rooney / Tevez / Odemwengie
I dont have 11. Fabregas and Vdv are out, Rooney and Nani not playing, Odemwengie a doubt, and Coleman might not play.
Have 1 free transfer. Thoughts on: Fabregas - Nasri, Coleman - Kolorov (4 point hit) .
    Thanks

take the players out who are injured long term and are out of favour. There are rumors that Fabs might be back next GW, so transfering out VdV (could be out 4 weeks, but nobody knows) and Coleman should be first priority.

Hi guys. This is my 1st season in FPL. Where can I find any info on the 'postponement -> double GW' rule?

Does it make any difference if I bench a MU player this GW?

    Hart (Carson)
    Hangeland, Vidic, Jags (Elmo, Williamson)
    MGP, N'Z, Nasri, Nani (Albrighton)
    Carroll, Drogs, Tev

    Thanks and cheers.

Just means the game will be rearranged for another time, which will give Blackpool and Man Utd two matches in whichever gameweek it should be. That's all you need to know (because that's all there is to it).

That week has Gary Taylor-Fletcher (c) written all over it.

        Thanks. Any general advice then?

How would you rank the following (0-5):
-not to make early transfers in winter?
-not to rely too much on certain teams (risk spread)?
-after a game is postponed, trying to pile players from the teams to play double?
        -[more?]

        Cheers.

With the Man U game off, (and I have 3 United players already before this gameweek window openend), I desperately need some of the other games called off to balance this up.

Ideally Sunderland v West Ham, Arsenal v Fulham and West Brom v Newcastle, that would screw over a fair few people.

Hmmm, I want to bring in Torres, but concerned that Liverpool play on Monday night. Any chances of that game being called off? The weather doesn't look too bad as far as I can see for Liverpool. Anyone live there?

I've benched Nani which leaves me Bale, Malouda, Barton and Poulsen and 1.5M. With Poulsen not likely to play is it worth taking a hit? If so who? tempted by MGP but FPL showing him a doubt to play?
