Some of us have been snowed in, some of us have been knocked down by winter viruses for more days than they would wish and others are just waiting for Fernando Torres to shine a light on their season. I confess, all those three are me so enough of the pity party as we’ve got one final fixture to close out gameweek sixteen.

The news that Fernando Torres wife has gone into labour (oh god, not that old chestnut again!) will cause many, myself included, to kick up a storm as Ryan Babel comes in to replace the Spanish maestro this evening. Some end to the gameweek. Teams in full are…

So I hear Liverpool were decent and Villa shocking.
Im slightly tempted to go with Odemwingie over Torres this week now.
Derby will surely have some goals in it and Torres can wait a week.

    ya not a bad week either Akers, in the circumstances I have to say I am delighted with 58 (50 less hits) in a week I thought I was looking at late 20's. Still galling to see a rank jump of about 12,000 on Saturday only to be back about 3,000 on my opening rank at the start of the GW, still, no ground lost really, and hopefully more luck with fixtures being called off (Rooney/Vidic/Evra/Adam), injuries (VDV), rotation (Boateng/Piquionne), onwards and upwards!

How sh*t am I at transfers?

6 weeks this season I have made 2 or more changes. 5 of those 6 weeks I've gotten a red arrow. They have been the ONLY red arrows I've gotten!

10 times this year I've done 1 or less transfers, all of those 10 I've gotten a green arrow!

      I make transfers every week, and usually the players I bring in do okay. My regular players are the ones that let me down! Although, I did bring in Bent at the weekend...shudder...

        IMHO Fabs catches Arteta's leg on the backswing whichs sends his kicking leg into the back of his supporting leg.
