The Player Manager Scout League

You may remember that last week we previewed a new Fantasy Game proposition – the “Next-Gen” contender that is Player Manager. The weekend’s postponements scuppered our plans to get a full hands-on with the game, so that’s been shelved until next week when we’ve had more time with the game.

In the meantime, the Scout team will be playing over Christmas and we’ve decided to introduce an informal Scout League setup for those interested in joining us.

If you’d like to join the Player Manager Scout League then just email scout@playermanager.com with the subject “IN”. Please use the email address you used to register your Player Manager account so the guys at PM can locate you on their system.

The League will run for four Gameweeks (19-22) and, on this occasion, we’re just playing for kudos (no digital camera), but in future we may set up something more formal with prize money on offer.

    I was thinking of doing Distin>Raphael but not sure that's a good move with Everton being at home. Although they do seem to be inconsistent. Any thoughts appreciated. Should I use the transfer or stick? I don't intend to hit the button till the deadline.

      Why are you benching Kon, Torres and Lee?

      The Liverpool game hasn't been called off yet and Lee should play this week so bench Distin, Ethers and Kolarov/Cole.

      Use 1 of your transfer then on Samba perhaps? Samba > Nelson, just so you know he is more likely to start.

              Fair enough man - I don't mind making a very short-term transfer, but only if the points return makes it worthwhile.

          hard to know if hes worth it, west brom at home should have been a big score for him, but it wasnt , their home form has been poor, and against birmingham who are likely to defend well, a goal will be his best haul

          stoke away could be different, as their away form has been pretty good!

          but as you have no fulham players they may be your best pick, i would say yaya , but you have tevez, and i think mgp has seen his best points in the last few weeks, new manager likes to move him all over the pitch!

    LOL @ my brothers team, I know he has left it since GW3 but still, I have seen teams like that in the top 50k.
