  • Blackpool Vs. Liverpool – OFF

It was always going to be the most likely Premier League game to fall foul of the weather, and that has proved true. A frozen Bloomfield Road pitch is once again responsible for the postponement.

  • Everton Vs. Birmingham City – OFF

Having passed the “key test” live on Sky Sports News yesterday morning (yeah, I was watching Sky Sports News on Christmas morning), this cancellation comes as somewhat of a surprise. The reason for this game being off is “due to the adverse weather conditions in Liverpool overnight the stadium is not in a fit condition to stage a Premier League football match”, as given on the Everton website.

If any more games are called off before the Fantasy Premier League deadline, I’ll update this article and announce it in the chatroom.

    Fact - captain choice has been bang on when I take a quick look at my team and pick at the start of a GW. Often I have been influenced and switched captains. Had on VDV on first look - changed it to Nani and now I get Nasri.
