Fixtures

We’d noticed a couple of questions in Comments recently because the much mooted final -as of now- postponed Blackpool fixture doesn’t seem to have been rescheduled, at least according to the folks at the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) game.

We can confirm however that is was reported that Blackpool vs Liverpool has been rescheduled -rather promptly, it was confirmed in the original match postponement- for January 12; just two calendar weeks away. Liverpool have also confirmed this, for those wanting reassurance.

That date tacks the fixture onto the end of Gameweek 22, which is not too far away at all and -unless the weather causes any issues again- will now see Blackpool have three double headers in the space of six Gameweeks (22, 24 & 27) and Liverpool also having two themselves in three Gameweeks (22 & 24).

Increased investment in assets from both ‘Pool sides will of course be expected and a member of the Scout Team will duly analyse the squads, prospects, fixtures and everything in-between as we build towards our first double Gameweek of the season.

Everyone’s Season Ticker has of course been updated to reflect this additonal fixture. We presume the FPL will catch up in the New Year.

Once it's announced officially it will be on the bbc within at most 15 minutes or so. Just look there or ask for a link to the source and you will be alright.

People don't find out lineups more than an hour or so before kick off so if someone is posting then, it's probably wrong.

Don't think so. Bendtner or Chamakh will probably play on the right. Wenger has consistently played the one formation for 18 months, it would be strange for him to suddenly change it.

Bendtner on the wing - Nasri and Walcott on the bench.

Quite like Aresnal, but I genuinely hope you lose tonight because of the sheer arrogance of Wenger's selection.

I don't think it's that arrogant to give some players a rest if you've got two games in three days.

Besides, he's brought or record signing and our top goalscorer into the side.

Ok this will make people feel better. I now have eight playing in total this week if Nasri stays benched. I have just 13 pts and only Nzog and Drog to play. I swapped Bale and Elmander for Wellbeck (now injured) and VDV (his first terrible score of the year) and have dropped 100,000 places to 300,000 somewhere.
Without doubt this is the worst week of my two and a half seasons of FPL.

...in the plus side I was 300,000th this time last year and ended the year winning the FFS cup and opn the outskirts of the top 10,000. Onwards and upwards.

you are quite right. I've got VDV blindness. All I've seen as a non VDV owner over the last few months has been a sea of 15s. At least I feel better having him long term than Bale...who really does usually get 2-5 pts.
