The Gameweek OPTA statistics available to our Members have now been updated to include those from today’s games. Members can view Gameweek stats via the Beta Site available here.

A quick glance gives us an early indication of where the Fantasy Premier League Bonus points may well be heading. Apart from the obvious – Rooney, Torres, Kenwyne Jones, Freddie Sears and Bale – I’d wager that we might well see Luka Modric, Michael Dawson, Ryan Shawcross, Steed Malbranque, Dan Agger, Steven Gerrard, Matt Upson, Frederic Piquionne, and yes, despite his penalty miss (more on that in tonight’s Knee Jerk), Carlos Tevez, all amongst the Bonus when they are eventually rolled out.

Members can pop into the Beta site now and use the “Current Gameweek” dropdown, to see just why.

People have got to be wary of a double gameweek where the doublers play each other unless you only go for attacking players.

  I remember Sp*rs and Man City's double last season, I had Dawson, Bale and Tevez, all of whom came through with double figure scores.
  
  I'm not over-investing in this double though. I've got Torres and Adam (Konchesky too, but he won't play) and may buy a third. It doesn't look like the most promising double week I've ever seen.

        Liverpools away record isn't the best .. And both matches are away from home.. Scoring a lucky goal in the 90th minute still doesn't give me much confidence on decent returns from Liverpool players.

        They don't pick the team, Hodgson said he will freshen up and that's what he did, Aurellio is a bit of a sick note, can't see him playing twice in a week.

F*cking get in there West Ham. We so needed that win today, such a sterile atmosphere during the first half, great dummy by Carlton Cole to set up our first goal. Freddie Sears had a great game, A bit like an early Theo Walcott though, no end product just yet. And Jamsiep you can stick your Scott Parker chat up your backside. He is BRILLIANT for us, no two ways about it, I spent about 20 minutes of the first half just watching him, Piquionne was truly awful and Carlton Cole embarrasingly, was our second most influential player going forward. Kovac, once again, terrible, way to slow to be playing premier league football. A good stint on the pitch for Mark Noble today, hopefully Grant replaces Kovac with Noble in the coming weeks.

Anyways, that was my take on todays game. Unbeaten in 4, roll on the Brum cup semi final.

31 with 2 to play pre bonus, not bad. Kolarov (C) is a bitch though! 57 friggin minutes. Great party last night as well. Life doesn't get much better. 'Appy 'Ammer, right here. (And no, I don't suppose you care, just saying).

    IMO, quite badly, you had about 5/6 shots in the first 5 minutes of the second half, Green made 3 good saves. You could of easily been 2-0 up. But besides from that 5 minute spell and when you hit the bar. You didn't look a threat. Freddie Sears tore Elekobi apart. And your defence, up against a better attack today, would've suffered. Ebanks-Blake by the way, is terrible, every time he got the ball in an attacking position, I was quite happy to see that it was him. Upson and Tomkins dealt with him comfortably.

      Thats where I think your wrong. Your midfield is one of the best in the league without a doubt, he would be good for you, but wasted. Huddlestone is a good player, and I don't think Parker goes with your style of play, i was talking to a Spurs fan the other day and he thought the same as me, he would be an addition to your squad, but very much wasted.

Kolarov is a bitch, I would be sitting on 41 pre bonus had he played an extra 3 minutes. 🙁 The annoyances of this game. I think it should be 45, 2 points 60, 3 points and the full 90, 4 points. Obviously there will be days I think the opposite but that would decrease the pain of today.
