One door closes (The Saturday Surgery) and another doth open for you all (The Dugout Discussion).
It’s all relatively cosmetic but the main thing that can be done now is put up your feet, take in the day’s action and get over that grade III. hangover you picked up during last night’s celebrations. There’s nothing left to do but cross fingers and hope that the Wayne Rooney captaincy [insert your choice previous] you opted for at the last minute proves fruitful.
The Dugout Discussion is open through all of today’s games starting at The Hawthorns in under an hour as Manchester United pay visit to a West Brom side short of defensive options and closing in the same city as Arsenal have an away game against Alex McCleish’s men at St. Andrews…
In-between our Birmingham based bookends we will take in a grand total of six 3pm kick-offs as the New Year supports a rather chock-a-block schedule. Tottenham will host Fulham hoping to continue their charge towards the top four, Liverpool play host to Bolton hoping they can improve from frankly diabolical to middling and winning and Man City play host to Blackpool looking to knock the fresh-faced form travelers off their perch as they aim for the top of the table. A Key clash between West Ham and Wolves also stands out at the bottom of the table while Stoke vs. Everton and Sunderland vs. Blackburn round out the days fixtures.
As already alluded to, the Dugout Discussion will be open and with you right through all of the day up until the bonus judges do their worst as we close out the day.
