A Gameweek under floodlights brings a midweek Fantasy Premier League deadline – not only that we’ve got the lure of double fixtures to consider. That all adds up to a supremely busy Tuesday evening around here, with plenty of Fantasy Managers wiping away the perspiration in search of some last minute inspiration.

We’ve opened up the Matchday Surgery chatroom nice and early for you to allow you time to settle in, find yourself a seat in the stand and try to fight off those last minute knee jerks.

    Am I correct in understanding that we will not be able to use our wildcard AFTER the games in the double GW 27 have started? Would be nice because of the long break.

    Might have been mentioned before, but watch out if you are doing your wildcard before the carling cup semis. If Arsenal win, they will play the final the day after the spurs match (gw27), that means both Arsenal and Spurs will only get one game each that week.

      use totalfpl.com and get in all the players that are due to rise now and soon, and then ship them out later if you dont want them. make lotsss of transfers

      I think you are all missing the point. Selling players like Carroll with team value built in is a NO-NO on a Wildcard. Watch out who you sell is the most important thing as you will never get that extra team value back & will have to spend more for that player later.

          I sold VDV the moment he got injured and just about broke even on him. It depends how much they've risen, how long they'll be out for and much they are likely to fall during that time coupled with how much whoever you get in to replace him rises...

    Blackpool goal was actually really good. Great pass to the winger, brilliant cross, good head back across goal and DJ smashed it in on the volley.

    Shame about Crainey for the first goal and basically the entire Blackpool defence for the second, not the best offside trap I've ever seen...

    I'm sick of my captain hitting the woodwork, missing penalties, slipping when there's an open goal, the list goes on and on...
