The Members Paddy Power Cup reaches it’s business end this weekend, with just 32 Fantasy Managers competing for the prestigious trophy. Before announcing the fourth round fixtures, here’s a round-up of the third round results

Despite notching a respectable score of 70 (average for the round a touch under 63), denial could not deny the highest-ranked competitor in the tournament a place in the Last 32. Now 23rd in the world, Zophar advances.

Also on a seemingly unstoppable run is FFS Cup III Champion, Gooner dave, who saw off Merlinho 65 – 52.

Top-scorer for the round was Squerly4568, the only manager clocking a ton in the round, as he thrashed jangbobob 103 – 56. That was the joint-highest margin of victory, as Ghost (99) smashed Ozasis by the same difference.

Not through to the Last 32 are any of the Site Contributors, as Granville crashed out by a single point to Dave Boozle, and with the highest losing score (71).

The draw for the fourth round has already been made, and the fixtures for which can be viewed right here.

It’s a round that includes the reigning FFS Cup III Champion, two of the top 100 in the world, and plenty of familiar names from the site. Good luck to all the remaining participants!

Once again, the prizes for the competition, provided by Paddy Power, are a free £150 bet for the winner, £75 for the runner-up and £50 for third place.

If you’re not with Paddy Power yet, then you can sign up via this site and get a free £20 when you register and bet £10. (All offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions.)

I might double up as well. It's also easier to get a Chelsea defender later on, which is a must in my eyes.

little advice: no hits for defenders unless it's a DGW. So just take out one of them.

unless the chelsea game was the 0-2 at anfield 2 seasons ago then no. and if he looked "better" that isn't really a compliment, it just means he wasn't completely terrible

          Foster
          RJohn Smalling Baines Huth
          Nani Nzog VDV
          Zigic Rooney Tevez

Guys, I need some advide. After thinking and overthinking I'm down to two options for this GW.

    A.RVP,Rafael>Zigic,Baines
    B.RVP,Berbatov>Saha,Torres

B is obviously riskier, as Saha prob want last two games and Torres might be not so sure to start after his recent performances. I will be 14p ahead in my minileague after the move and figured out that my rival got Zigic for Berba. Play safe or try to go "all in" this week?

Cheers guys for bringing me down to earth. B is probably to risky given my small lead in the mini league. There is always the desire to do something special, although the safe transfers are the smarter ones...

Don't know your team but there might be more pressing moves this week. Robinson could get you a few extra points for saves, so keep him. Take no hit for another goalie
