Back in action after another seemingly long lay-off (no, not Rio Ferdinand, he’s still injured), another Fantasy Football deadline looms. The Matchday Surgery chatroom is open to aid you with your transfer dilemmas…

With around an hour to go to make those final alterations to your side, we’ve the somewhat usual situation of no added complications of a double-gameweek or any ‘blank’ fixtures to contend with.

Having said that, injuries to the likes of Mikel Arteta, Nikola Zigic, Wojciech Szczesny and Rafael da Silva, along with the odd suspension to the likes of Ciaran Clark, doesn’t make things any easier. Especially if, like me, you have all five of those players in your squad (ok, Zigic is only a doubt, but still). Woe is me.
