After the feast of yesterday’s eight fixtures we’ve got a relative famine this afternoon as we have just two games to sate our fantasy appetite this Sunday afternoon.

The Dugout Discussion swings open it’s doors once again as the two English sides knocked out of the Europa League in midweek are left to pick themselves back up and dust themselves down, starting with Liverpool at Sunderland.

The News from the Stadium of Light sees Danny Welbeck coming for Steed Malbranque as he makes his first start in over two months following a knee injury. Kenny Dalglish meanwhile gives Andy Carroll his first Premier League start in a Liverpool shirt as he (and Jay Spearing) come into the Liverpool side. The full teams are…

Sunderland XI: Mignolet; Bardsley, Bramble, Mensah, Ferdinand; Sessegnon, Henderson, Muntari, Richardson; Welbeck, Gyan

Liverpool XI: Reina; Carragher, Agger, Skrtel, Johnson; Spearing, Lucas; Kuyt, Meireles, Suarez; Carroll

After Asamoah Gyan and Luis Suarez have had time to think back on their long hot summer together we’ll be capital bound to close out the season as Chelsea host Man City as the two sides scrap for continued points in the fight for the Champions League spaces. With talk that Tevez may very well have undertaken a late fitness test on his groin plenty of managers will be hotly anticipating the results – especially those vicarious enough to hand him their fantasy armband.

The chatroom will be open through all the action as the Dugout Discussion is here to close out the last gameweek of the month.

      [Likely] same trade for me.

There is no doubt I'm waiting, but I don't do ever early transfers anyway.

Far too long for someone as brittle as RVP (or anyone else in relative squads, for that matter) to injure himself to risk Changing up a plan to save a couple of shillings.

They're not allowed to show the Saturday 3PM kick offs here out of fear it will reduce attendance at the actual games, which means we're fortunate enough to pay a fortune for Sky Sports/ESPN and only get half the matches.

The Professional Goalkeepers Association have put a restraining order on Sky not to show too many Arsenal games 'live'.. something about discrediting the credibility of the goalkeepers union.

to win my fantasy cup matchup all i need is for bosingwa and silva to combine for 2 points. Piece of cake right? 🙁

Bosingwa - Chelsea concede two goals, 1 point

Silva - 60+ minutes and a yellow card, 1 point

I win on goals scored tiebreaker.

    Simples.

Im just cooked, captained vdv. nani, adam, coleman, huth, and even berbatov armband would have done the trick.

He would be, but he's injured. This would be for the upcoming fixtures. If it wasn't Theo no brain walcott would be on the right instead of Lennon. Fatty s obviously Fatty Lampard. What's even happened to Thudd? Heard a rumour Jarvis was going to be in the squad. Tbh, i'd pick him over Young.

Tevez should play as Mancini said he'd get the rest needed in the International break and Balotelli is out of favour.

Looks like Welbeck is picking up right where he left off when he got injured. This loan spell has done him wonders.

Indeedly. He and Clev will have a big part to play next season. Welbeck looks like he's put on about 3 stone of muscle in the last 6 months.

Agree. I like welbeck. considering taking out zigic for him. Fook the dgw. At this rate zigic won't do much anyways.
