After the feast of yesterday’s eight fixtures we’ve got a relative famine this afternoon as we have just two games to sate our fantasy appetite this Sunday afternoon.

The Dugout Discussion swings open it’s doors once again as the two English sides knocked out of the Europa League in midweek are left to pick themselves back up and dust themselves down, starting with Liverpool at Sunderland.

The News from the Stadium of Light sees Danny Welbeck coming for Steed Malbranque as he makes his first start in over two months following a knee injury. Kenny Dalglish meanwhile gives Andy Carroll his first Premier League start in a Liverpool shirt as he (and Jay Spearing) come into the Liverpool side. The full teams are…

Sunderland XI: Mignolet; Bardsley, Bramble, Mensah, Ferdinand; Sessegnon, Henderson, Muntari, Richardson; Welbeck, Gyan

Liverpool XI: Reina; Carragher, Agger, Skrtel, Johnson; Spearing, Lucas; Kuyt, Meireles, Suarez; Carroll

After Asamoah Gyan and Luis Suarez have had time to think back on their long hot summer together we’ll be capital bound to close out the season as Chelsea host Man City as the two sides scrap for continued points in the fight for the Champions League spaces. With talk that Tevez may very well have undertaken a late fitness test on his groin plenty of managers will be hotly anticipating the results – especially those vicarious enough to hand him their fantasy armband.

The chatroom will be open through all the action as the Dugout Discussion is here to close out the last gameweek of the month.

      apparently they were quite lucky.

Captain Bale was a spinout though. Made 3 trades including getting Luiz in & selling Nani for Bale.

Does anyone have any ideas when the following games, put back due to cup semi finals, are likely to be fixed?

    Newcastle vs MUFC
    City vs Spurs
    Stoke vs Wolves
    Fulham vs Bolton

Luiz by a mile... apart from his love for yellow cards, he's too good to ignore... brought in Walker over him because he was facing City, too bad 🙁
Think priority will be Tevez/Saha (for Carroll to fund the Chelski boys) this week i.e. he'll have to wait Huth to Luiz in GW32

Would you get rid of Huth or Rafael first? I know Rafael is injured but he could well be back for the next game and with the United defence pretty much decimated should be in line to start the rest of the season. Huth's next run of games are awful but is it stupid to take out a healthy player and leave an injured one in?

I'm bringing in Luiz for Kolorov after the international break.

So please please please DON'T BUY HIM IN UNTIL CLOSER THE THE DEADLINE!!

Another down arrow for me this week, third in a row despite scoring 61 points, although I did take a 8 point hit to get there. My hit had a net gain of 9 points for this game week taking into account scores of players taken out and the cost of the transfers, so not all bad, shame all of that gain was from RVP, curse you fat Frank and Walker!
