While Black Squadron are up and reveling in the long overdue return of Adam and Joe this morning Fantasy Squadron still has a lot on it’s plate to iron out after what seems like an equally long time away. With just a couple of hours left until the Fantasy Premier (FPL) deadlines hits there’s plenty to think over and not much time left to decide.

The Saturday Surgery once again opens it’s doors for any and all managers looking for that last minute relief of fellow managers in a similar state of panic…

“Who do I captain this week?”

The people have spoken quite clearly on this matter and if you don’t have Robin Van Persie in your squad heading into this week, it might be time to duck and cover as Blackburn pay visit to Emirates – the Dutchman will be looking to build on his record 11 Premier League goals in ’11. The only ill-ease will come from the fitness doubts we have surrounding him. Nani and Rooney lead the chase with Lampard, Suarez and Tevez straggling.

“What other players should I look at?”

Mark is backing the likes of Kolarov, Nasri and Suarez (amongst others) ahead of this gameweek , while the Watchlist has thrown up the longer term potential in from capalists like Simon Mignolet and a whole host of others. Big Dunc has thrown up his differential choices this week for those looking for something perhaps a little left of centre.

“Are there any good runs of fixtures to be capitalised on?”

Always. Check out my most recent Fixture Frisk for who we’re tipping and avoiding and whip out your new and improved season tickers to look at the top defences, attacks or make your own choices.

We head into the chatroom for the last few minutes before deadline and savour the wise words of Lance-Corporal Jack Jones…

“Don’t panic! Don’t Panic!”

    RJohnson Coleman Hangeland (Djourou Walker)
    Nani Nasri Young Lampard (Barton)
    Tevez RVP Zigic
0.7 in the bank 1 free transfer
    Is that the right team?

Consider retaining DGW players like Hangeland and possibly Djourou and use Tevez as a fund source to get Luiz. Tevez is kind of key-- he may break good soon and he also has a DGW in GW 36-- but his past weeks have been bad. Ship out Zigic and R.Johnson as soon as you can after GW33.

So I don't have a neat plan to offer to get Luiz, who is certainly the flavor of the month.

I'm looking at a 8 point hit this week and 4 next week so I can get lampard in, and keep a midfield of lampard Adam nasri and vdv. Worth it? In terms of mini leagues my main rival has already taken an 8 pointer this week

The scoring potential of Berbatov always worries me but the fact is that Fergie seems destined to start Hernandez so it may be time to cut your losses. I also sense all is not well in that relationship.

RVP is a must and Tevez could score high today.
