For those without Wayne Rooney owners, Saturday was a painful day (I bet you did better than me though). Hopefully there’s something on offer this Mothering Sunday, with two Premier League fixtures to close the gameweek out (good riddance).

The Dugout Discussion chatroom is open in time for Blackpool’s trip to Craven Cottage. The team sheets have been handed in and read like this…

Fulham XI: Schwarzer, Baird, Hughes, Hangeland, Salcido, Duff, Etuhu, Murphy, Dempsey, Zamora, Dembele

Blackpool XI: Kingson, Baptiste, Cathcart, Evatt, Crainey, Grandin, Adam, Vaughan, Ormerod, Beattie, Taylor-Fletcher

Fantasy favourites Charlie Adam and Clint Dempsey both feature as does Fulham striker Bobby Zamora. That’s his first league start since his injury back in gameweek three, and his presence relegates Andy Johnson to the bench. Other than that, Fulham line-up as expected.

As for the visitor’s, DJ Campbell competes his three-match suspension today, which allows Brett Ormerod to play alongside Gary Taylor-Fletcher and James Beattie up front.

On a more comical note, Fulham chairman Mohamed Al Fayed has erected a statue of Michael Jackson outside Craven Cottage. No, really.

That monstrosity aside, and it’s perhaps the final game of the day at Eastlands that has our interest, as Man City play hosts to Sunderland. Will Carlos Tevez’s owners be rewarded for holding on? I hope so.

Only De Jong, Kompany and SWP - with his 15 minutes - have scored fewer points than Kolarov. 😥

Mark and Shogun/Cocoon are still promoting that bandwagon. He is very average, but not an average player that is picking up the points.
My RVP for Tevez tranny is now behind, could have been worse I suppose. Still think I did the right thing.

Obviously not. There was a helluva lot of logic behind getting Kolarov. It just didn't work out for various reasons.

The last man to touch it before it went in was Lescott, so it's a Lescott assist under the FPL rules.

Because Nani was rested and with the relative plethora of options now available to United on the wings he's by no means assured of starts, whereas an 'out of form' Lampard has scored 4, assisted 2 and got 7 BPs in his last 7 games, right before Chelsea have a pretty good double along with some other good fixtures.

Really annoying that City have a blank GW when Silva is playing so well. Seems crazy to sell a man on form but he's the favourite to make way for Lampard as opposed to VdV, Nani or Nasri.

If you've got less than 3 outfield players wit a blank game week keep them because they'll have a double after

Look at this, everybody's favourite football tactics site Zonal Marking falling for the disgusting David Silva hype.

    Zonal_Marking Zonal Marking
3-0 City. Even just a simple finish from seven yards, David Silva manages to make it look classy, great stuff

It was a f*cking tap-in and Ji-Sung Park would have scored it too. Jesus.

That's so mean! I just don't know why he's allowed to be judged by different rules than any other player for such a long period. I'm sure he's a nice man and he's been much better than I expected him to be all season.

They've improved this season for sure. Both of them.

You'll have to agree that no other player would ever have had an own praising tweet for that goal though, I know you know it.

not sure any replays is close enough or slow enough to prove johnson didn't touch it at all. unfortunately i can't see how anyone can prive johnson did touch it considering the balls seems to just carry on past him unaffected. i don't see why the benefit of the doubt has gone to the 'possible skimmer' here as opposed to the crosser who we know has actually made the goal. frustratingly as a kolarov owner i think we've just going to have to grin and bear this one and hope one goes in our favour next time.

Oh come off it! They just showed the goal in slow mo. Lescott didn't even alter the direction of the ball. I can't even tell if he touched it, how are others so sure!?

Oh. My. Days. It hit Lescott! It may not have been a massive deflection, but it hit him last before Vieira scored. And is therefore his assist.

Lets put it this way: If it was the other way around and, for some reason, you had Lescott you'd be expecting 3 assist points there. No doubt.

Put it this way, no i wouldn't im honest when it comes to assists. For example i was one of those who thought Hart should have had his assist removed earlier in the season and that Nani shouldn't have kept his against Arsenal. I had both of them.
