Given and Begovich (assuming I can confirm Begovich as Stokes 1st choice keeper). There fixtures rotate 100% perfectly throughout the season and will cost only .5mil more than the terrible combo everyone else has. I know 10mill on keepers is prob 1mil more than everyone would like to spend on keepers.
However Villa and Stoke at home are more than capable of keeping clean sheets

Keepers are bought for a whole season not for 6 weeks, if your happy wasting transfers trying to get it right then thats fine by me. Just keep in mind QPR may also not keep clean sheets against the 3 teams you have mentioned above, this then renders your plan useless.
I don't buy keepers for a whole season. Why shouldn't you treat them as just one part of your defensive line-up? Do you buy your defenders for a whole season?
If you can get a decent keeper combo then thats 2 players in you team you dont need to worry about, baring injuries or suspensions. Once you start wasting transfers on keepers you minimise the changes you can make to the players that actually score decent points - outfield players.
Generally i my buy cheaper defenders which rotate well for atleast the first 10 weeks, then its prob wildcard time anyway.
To each their own mate.
Goalkeepers are not governed by form, nor do they have to worry about Bonus Points, goals or assist chances.
The only thing you need to think about is likelihood of clean sheets and saves are an added but unpredictable bonus.
This makes GKs the most stable position in the team.
Now, you are only allowed one free transfer per week. As you already have 13 other players to think about form, point chances, etc, it would perhaps be best if you didn't have another 2 players to think about.
That's why choosing two stable GKs that are most likely to yield points is the most practical strategy.
I'm with you on that. Man City are apparently looking to sign Sorensen as back-up to Hart, which would be perfect for us.

i feel Rooney is on better form, and on Pens, Suarez is going to be incred this season, RVP is on fire and exudes confidence and always knows where the goal is... then i want Cole, Kompany, Baines in Def.. theres too many people i want.

Went Malouda instead of Lampard for the simple fact of saving dollars!!!
I don't have him because i am not sure i want to lock out that kind of cash without understanding his role in the team. We don't REALLY know what the new manager will do.
Having said that i am the kind of fantasy manager who fancies a punt on Benayoun, simply because i think he is a quality player and if he gets game time then i think he will be in the points.
In short i don't think that Lampard can be classed as 'essential' at this moment.

Reason why i've penciled in wilshere is if Nasri and Fabregas depart he will step into the spotlight. They have massive wraps on him.

I think Bent wont be as effective this year, AVL have lost two massive players to assist bent. Young and Downing
without good service i dont think hill be producing the goods

Pretty much all the Chelsea squad are a cause for Fantasy concern.
I'm steering clear of the affordables until some sort of pattern emerges. Will prob stick Malouda in.
at 7m Benayoun is quite a punt if people are putting him in first couple of weeks.
Midfield value is screwed up this year ... whoever set the prices is having a laugh ...
Don't think its the prices, more the bewilderment at who is going to emerge as nailed on, if anyone at all.
I think that it's a bit of both...there is no value left in the midfield and all the expensive bad boys (Lamps/VDV/Malouda/Fabs) havd massive question marks over their heads.
It's quire a conundrum we have on our hands.
There are not nearly enough 6.5 mids, and there are far too many 6.0 defenders, imo.

Arsenal coverage will again be determined by hyow they play given gervinho is their now but most likely will sacrifice chica down to zamora given fxtures. hows that sound?

Can someone please tell me the reason behind the ongoing uncertainty surrounding Rafael's starting role? Unless they make a new marquee signing at right back and barring any injury I see Rafael as 100% nailed on starting for man utd (mind you it was Rafael who started at right back against the almighty barcelona in the CL final)

Right you are my man, coming from a United supporter I am sure he's a nailed for the right back position.
I think the uncertainties come from the fact that Fergie rested him and went with Fabio for a couple of the later games of the season. But as you've already stated, probably due to rest before the Champ league final.
But it was Fabio who started in the champions leauge final, not Rafael

Who would you play? Modric is better, need a more defensively-orientated CM alongside him, Bale on the left, Lennon/VDV on the right. If he was right footed then maybe put him on the right with VDV off the striker but I don't see Kranjcar being comfortable there. He's a class player but I don't see where he fits in at Spurs
He fits in if Modric leaves. And for a defensive CM we have Huddelstone and Sandro.
