Back in the routine yet? Maybe another familiar regular is what you need to reacquaint yourself with the route to the weekend Fantasy deadline.

We’ve duly published our first Captain poll of the season, canvassing your views on the destination of the Fantasy armband ahead of the season kick-off.

Straight way, we’ve got an interesting one.

Doubts surrounding the fitness of Robin Van Persie and Luis Suarez level the playing field a little, while Nani and Wayne Rooney will catch the eye, though both may look a risk against a West Brom side who will surely be well-drilled by the crafty Roy Hodgson. Perhaps a gamble on Fernando Torres at Stoke is in order? But then Didier Drogba could easily start at the Britannia, such is the uncertainty surrounding the Andre Villas-Boas teamsheet.

    Yea it is a lot, but i like a very strong backline, i find defence is the hardest area to get points and paying money is more likely to garauntee larger returns than other positions, just an idea.

      I don't disagree I like 4 expensive backs. Just looks like you are planning to play 3 at the back. If that's your formation just might be able to get one stronger midfielder in by having a genuine benchy?

  Need to see your defense, but Nani for me could be electric, and Senderos if he's there to rotate is a good pick.

Why are people putting Ruddy in as their 'other' goalie? Is this to rotate or not as I can see little value - is it not better to upgrade to say Al Habsi for 0.5 more and rotate with Given...

Don't intend this as a criticism, I just would like to know whether I've missed something with Norwich's defence.

      Personally I'm having Given and sticking with him. Which means I just need a cheapie keeping the bench warm. I did try to stick Hart in with the same tactic but finances dictated....

Quick question lads.

(A): Dunne, Odemwingie, Rodallega

or

(B): Shawcross, Suarez, Holt

Already have a top striker, but Suarez looks essential to have & Holt is on pen's for Norwich. Having said that, Roda has great fixtures, Villa will improve at the back with McLeish & Odemwingie is proven quality.

    Rodallega will definitely play. I'm unsure about both Odemwingie (who would be benched this week for me anyways) and Suarez. Suarez does give better long term potential. Very undecided....

  I'd go with Carroll. Liverpools tactics have changed and will favour carroll more. Both are good choices.

      keepers co-operate well for rotation. Al-habsi has good start fixtures. Defenders are good at scoring/assisting. Riise will take set-pieces and play well with fulhams new offensive style. And malouda, nani, carroll, bent, zamora, n'zogbia!! what more firepower??? drogba may not play and rooney is a little too epensive with fixtures he has!

        chelsea, man u defenders are risky with few expensive exceptions. Lescott for Hangeland though?? Riise is a bonus in my opinion. Bench is irrelevant, i have a sub every week and definite starters. Strong keeper considering rest of team. You can't have a team that is perfect in every area due to the 100m cap so deducting points based on faults is not a great way of rating.

All of those that entered the Sledgehammer H2H leagues last season would of received an e-mail with the code for this seasons league that they are now in.

But as ever, it is open to new entrants and there are still places without entrants in leagues 3 and 4. And if any entrants from leagues 1 and 2 dont fill there place by Tomorrow Midnight, then there places will open up to everyone else.

Not ur avereage team but i've worked hard on rotations for the first 15 GW's and have a team which works but looks fairly weak. I'm basically stopping myself from WC'ing early on...The front line is the worst area, however I'm (potentially) going Carroll > Drogs in GW2 and Rodders > Odemwingie approx GW4/5...Anything else drastically wrong with this side?

    Thanks. I'm nothing more than hopeful atm on Bossy :D...And yes, Enrique moving to liverpool seems to rotate really well with any villa defender for the first 6-8 weeks I think...I'm sure there's clean sheets in there somewhere!!

    Sound. Bos is a punt. A lot of people have Enrique, but i'm not convinced even if he goes to 'pool as the rest of their defence aint top drawer & the fixtures not the best. But bear in mind I'm somewhat stupid...

  I hope it works for you, as good a strategy as any, I suppose.
  
  Just a point, though: saving your wildcard is great if you're ahead by then ... if you're behind by much, it'll largely be a waste. I'd advise you to not be afraid to pull the plug on the plan if it starts going South ... rather than continuing to 'push' on a 'pull' door.

  I don't like your defense or goalies, there are too many risks. Enrique, Bosingwa, Hennessey, it could easily, easily go south and you'll be using that WC before you know it.
  
  I'd advise not to look too far ahead.
  
  You can't know how things are going to turn out. If you're going to save your money, at least have certain positions where it might come in handy immediately.
  
  Rodallega isn't going to get upgraded to anyone meaningful with 1.5 and neither are any of your midfielders.

    I'd go with the second team. Downgrade Dunne to someone like Simpson, as you already have Given. Play moses GW1 and upgrade O'hara with the extra cash?

  Even if Arsenal had a brilliant pre-season, Nasri and Fabregas declared their undying love for the place, and Gervinho scored a goal every game, I'd avoid.
  
  He's playing in midfield, and he's new to the league. No way he'll be worth it unless he plays upfront in Van Persie's absence.
