Back in the routine yet? Maybe another familiar regular is what you need to reacquaint yourself with the route to the weekend Fantasy deadline.

We’ve duly published our first Captain poll of the season, canvassing your views on the destination of the Fantasy armband ahead of the season kick-off.

Straight way, we’ve got an interesting one.

Doubts surrounding the fitness of Robin Van Persie and Luis Suarez level the playing field a little, while Nani and Wayne Rooney will catch the eye, though both may look a risk against a West Brom side who will surely be well-drilled by the crafty Roy Hodgson. Perhaps a gamble on Fernando Torres at Stoke is in order? But then Didier Drogba could easily start at the Britannia, such is the uncertainty surrounding the Andre Villas-Boas teamsheet.

  Tripling up on the City defence and oddly doubling up on the Stoke defence - don't understand your thinking here?!
  
  Benayoun - will he play? O'Hara - not immediately appealing; VDV possible injury doubt; and Sessegnon is up against it in terms of fixtures.
  
  Forward line looks the best bit of that team! How will you get RVP or Rooney though?

    O'Hara is actually a very good buy at that price.
    
    You don't want to get any Stoke defenders because of their fixtures, let alone two.
    
    Sunderland's fixtures really aren't that bad. In fact I think someone posted a link showing they had the 6 best opening fixtures.

    i just think in the first 4 games i villa,qpr,wigan have a good chance 1-2 clean sheets and city is a solid pick and sunderland and newcastle can swap for the home games.
    i want chelsea cover but luiz,alex,bos are good value but i want to wait till they play stoke. utd,liverpool,spurs,everton,arsenal backlines in the first 6 dont appeal so i can drip them in. so rather than have midprice defenders i want to go big up top and hope they start well. it may not work but i just cant bank on clean sheets

      ok thanks for posting...but you could start with Baines and you might end up keeping him...or start with Lescott & Kompany because the Man City attackers will surely get rotated limiting their attractiveness...or start with Cole...it's the hits I don't like as a plan...who knows where injuries will hit you?
      
      and Sunderland have a couple of duff home games early on

  At 27 surely he's got more than 2 influential seasons left at an appreciable level? But that United midfield is becoming awfully crowded and he would surely be best placed to operate in the new Rooney role?

  I'd stick with Nelsen, he's overlooked mainly because a lot of people have Hughes but since you have Schwarzer and Dempsey he's not really a decent pick for you.

  I love it. Duff and Ramsey are awesome choices. Richards is awesome but he might not play. And i'd put Given 1st choice even against tough teams (he'll get lots of saves)

Is Rooney and Malouda better than having Nani and a £10-£12M striker. Wondering Man U coverage on Rooney with Malouda as Chels might be the better bet now.
