From MI6 to the CIA, never has there been such rigid protection of confidential information than that surrounding Mark’s initial Fantasy squad. So, when super-secret agent himself joined me in the studio for our first podcast of the season, I was resigned to getting thrown the odd teasing titbit but little else.

However, it was to my very great surprise that he’d gone and left the proverbial back door open, there, “live” on air, he handed me a laptop giving me open access to his team on screen right in front of me. Since I was already in the house, he reluctantly decided to show me around.

An unexpected twist to our first podcast of the season and, dare I say it, a rare privilege for the listener.

When making transfers between gameweeks, when do you do them... straight away (to avoid prices going up), or last minute (to avoid injury, etc.)?

      Truthfully, I tended to do them before they even processed the weekend update; that way you can profit during the week as other people sub in.

    Last year was my first season and it was a head to head league so it was about beating the opponent beit 99-98 or 1-0 so only finished about 65,000 albeit out of 2.5million so top 3 percent.... This year it's all about points. When do prices rise????

      They seem to be recalculated more often than anything else. Maybe daily? Certainly couple of times a week. Others will no doubt know more than me, but that's how it seemed to me last year.

hi people, stuck with the final decision 1)drog + nani or 2)maluda + carroll. i dont plan to transfer any of them out at least 6 games (other tranfers plans) 1st looks more risky when torres fit again but nani can score high even vs spurs & leaky asrenals def
