Monday Is FPL Bonus Point Day

While we wait for further information on the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) situation, I thought I’d draw your attention to a recent rule tweak concerning the Bonus Point awards which some of you may have missed.

The FPL rules now state…

“Bonus points will be awarded on the Monday morning after the weekend matches are played. Any matches played on a weekday night will be awarded on the following morning.”

So, just to prevent even more frustration later this evening, we thought we’d make this clear to all in advance. The Bonus Points will be awarded after all the Gameweek action has been reviewed and any scoring issues addressed – which, given that they are now based on a system driven by a statistical index – the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index – is perhaps not surprising.

Fantasy Football Scout will of course be publishing a review of the Gameweek on Monday, discussing the Bonus Points and the EA SPORTS PPI in full.

Later today we also hope to have our first set ICT Scout Index scores available to Members which should offer some guidance on where the Bonus Points are likely to go.

As mentioned in my recent comments in the site earlier this morning, if we can get an update on the FPL situation, we will pass what we can.

      I was lucky enough to put my team together a few hours before the crash. Very happy with it but so many people getting lumped with players they don't want makes me feel bad. We got lucky.

    If you are so mad at FPL that it makes you want to spit in your own face, get even. When they do allow you to log in show them how pissed you are. If all of you ranting and raving are really that pissed of stand united and make a move together...everyone of you log in and DELETE your team. No serious, that will show em 😉

    Gave up at 11.30. Just back in and still can't get on.

    Can't imagine theres still as many managers trying to log in now yet they still have problems.

    I fear Saturday mornings are going to be frustratingly problmeatic.

        Wish I could see the muppets that are in my team, no idea who subs are as only did transfers. Remember some of the best players were on the right hand side, so think they might be subs. I had like 5 million left in the bank also. Could also be divine intervention, actually probably not as I remember I had changed someone good for Obertan.

    If people are so upset about the FPL site, the solution is simple--take your business elsewhere. There are plenty of sites that offer the game, many of them for free, and many of them with better prizes.

    Next year, either plan for a last-minute outage, sign up somewhere else, or both.

        But FPL is managing its growth so poorly, and it's frustrating. I'm not suggesting people shouldn't complain--they should. But FPL rarely listens to its users, maddeningly so, and keep making silly, nonsubstantive changes like the new interface without addressing the real issues with the game.

      yes but deadlines for pretty much every other game will be passed now (if you wanted to take part in a full season)

      the problem is this happened on the very eve of the new season and quite a few people are screwed (thankfully not myself)

        thing is i set up one of my nieces teams so now i can't remember exactly which players i ended up with...and my other niece couldn't get a team registered...annoying

        and i certainly had zero chance to get vorm and no chance to look at final team news and decide how best to leave cash to get malouda
