The second gameweek of the Premier League season comes to a close tonight at Old Trafford, as champions Manchester United play host to a Tottenham Hotspur side belatedly starting their league campaign. Injuries force Sir Alex to play an extremely young defence who, along with goalkeeper David De Gea, have an average age of just 22. Unforced however, is the youth in attack for the home side, who also have Javier Hernandez back in their match-day squad.

As for the visitors, Luka Modric didn’t take the trip up the M1 because, according to Spurs boss Harry Redknapp, “his head isn’t right” with speculation about his future still rife. Elsewhere, Brad Friedel makes his club debut and Jake Livermore starts after scoring midweek at Tynecastle.

        stick, vdv is one of those players who will give a weak return for a few games then get a massive score one game i.e 2 goals and 3 bonus. when he turns it on he turns it on and may end up a big mistake selling

          Yeah I had Dobbie in gameweek 1 even check my link but I sold him after his performance vs city.

          Yeah I'm on 88 points overall not great but things will turn around, the casual manages wont keep getting lucky for long.

            I'm eyeing up wildcard next week. My teams at least still got good fixtures going for it this week so I'll sit tight. Just Riise to Enrique for free as I definitely want him for the season. Made a mess of things last week with the free trades. Wasn't confident with my team but too indecisive. Got a good idea now for what I want going forward so wildcard next week is the plan.
            What's your plans?

              Yeah Enrique in for Riise looks good for the long term.
              I think I'm going to hold off wildcarding for as long as I can.
              Im going to save a transfer this week and next week Im thinking of swapping Rooney for Hernandez depending on if He plays vs Arsenal and then Sinclair/Sessegnon to Silva.
              Im not sure though I'd like to have Aguero or RVP in my forward line so I really dont know at the moment.

              People who use the phrase "just saying" need a punch square in the ballbags.

              Eric, Norwich clean sheet odds were same as Suarez scoring any time so logic was there anyway, even if RDL got his points from a goal and a (second) bonus haul.

                We really don't know. Price changes are dependent entirely on how many managers buy and sell the player, and this largely depends on how well, or how poorly the player is doing.

                So if Suarez continues to score goals, people will keep buying him, and his price will continue to rise. If he loses form, or is injured or suspended, people will sell him and his price will eventually fall.

                But at the moment, we just don't know!

            Newcastle would do well in Ligue1...
            Not sure about Premier league, but they probably have a better side than Wolves if they work well. Hard to pick key standout players for Newcastle though!
