Half an hour later Spurs are left to pick themselves up from their defeat to Man United to welcome Man City for their first home game of the season.

Despite talk of an impending departure for Peter Crouch he lines up for ‘Arry with Luka Modric also in the mixer. Roberto Mancini rewards Micah Richards with a new contract and a place on the bench as he, Aleksander Kolarov and James Milner drop out for Pablo Zabaleta, Gael Clichy and new signing Samir Nasri…

      You're just being silly now. EVERY PLAYER that is in a championship cup team will be rotated. Moreso Citeh, they are in the group of death. Maybe he plans on letting Balo and Tevez run rampant but I doubt it.

    someone in my league was talking about how he had to make sacrificies to get Mata, Nasri & Silva midfield, I was telling him for like 20 minutes how Silva & Nasri was a waste and that Nasri wouldn't always be nailed on IMO. then he goes and gets 3 assists ffs

    Dammit, just like Enrique yesterday Simpson's CS goes in the dying embers of the game! and then gets a yellow, what a complete crap gw! Oh well Aguero goal just helped a bit.....but still.                 Disagree. I think teams like United and Chelsea who have champions league experience and more importantly have played Barca before present the biggest threat. Having said that, I don't see Barca loosing to anyone really.
