        Sess was playing on the left last game with gardner pushed up behind bentner. They chopped and changed it during the game but it makes a shaky fpl prospect even shakier

      Easier to not lose cash than it is to make it. The last WC could have brought you 0.2 from Bos aand 0.1 from Young, Rooney, Dzeko and Jarvis. Everyone else only moved 0.1.

      If it makes you feel better, my midfield is Walcott, Yaya, Brunt, Hoolahan, Moses. I feel dirty even writing it down. Yours actually looks good to me, but that might just be compared to mine.... who are your strikers? If you're happy playing all 3 next week then just bench Barkley then you have 2 transfers the week after and have a bit more flexibility.

      Personally I think although Shawcross is a decent option that would leave you with too much invested in defence.

    @Jafa: What i meant on the previous page re: 'pulling trigger on Saturday'. Was that if you/we are going to WC inbetween GW7 and 8 then it is best to play it on the day the deadline closes and get in those players we think will go up during the two weeks.

      Newcastle and Stoke high up table based on defence rather than attack. Who needs 6m and 7m defs. (Baines I would rate as a mid oop). Otherwise free up cash for better mids.

      A defence made up of Newcastle, Stoke and Wolves would have done really well

      Mind you in another 4/5 weeks I might have to eat my words.

    Taarabt was outstanding last night, great individual skill and his passing was fantastic. However from a fantasy prospective he seems to be in the shadow of SWP, I'm keeping Taarabt but if you were looking for QPR covarage i'd go SWP.

        I dont know what the situ will be with spot kicks, im sure bothroyd hits a gd peno and barton was taking a few FKs and corners last night SWP just looked like an assist machine and taarbt was the one setting him up for the assist.

          SWP for me as well. Taarabt looked like he's fitting into the "modric role", i.e. may rack up PB's (or not, depending on the new bp system), but looked like setting up SWP for him to grab assists (if bothroyd could find the net....), or even the odd goal (SWP that is).

      Petrov is a good player, has one of the best left feet in the business. Don't think he has set pieces and Bolton's fixtures aren't great. I'd stick with Brunt, I doubt Petrov will outscore him.

      I dont understand the analysis that the link on Total FPL takes you to for the QPR game

      According to it Raylor has 1 shot to Simpson 0, 2 key passes to 1, pass accuracy of 74% to 61% and 82 touches v 58. The only thing Simpson wins on is two ariel duels won to 0 but Simpson has the higher rating??
