Today’s early kick-off sees Man City looking to get back to winning ways after throwing away a two-goal lead at Craven Cottage last week.

As Everton roll up to the Etihad Stadium looking to extend their five game unbeaten run, the lineups are out and it’s good news for owners of Sergio Aguero and Edin Dzeko- both were rested in the midweek Carling Cup clash with Birmingham and return to the starting XI as City look to for the three points that will take them back to the top of the table before Man United take on Stoke this evening.

The sides in full are:

Man City XI: Hart, Richards, Kompany, Lescott, Clichy, Y Toure, Barry, Silva, Nasri, Aguero, Dzeko

Everton XI: Howard, Hibbert, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, Coleman, Fellaini, Rodwell, Neville, Osman, Cahill

    Well, another frustrating week for fantasy football. Slightly redeemed by RVP, somewhat tainted by not making him VC and going for Dzeko instead.

    If united win I get £30 mind.

    Walcott+dzeko > Silva+adebayor for a 4 pt hit? One unfavourable price moves means i cant afford it, and want both players coming in long term. Also walcott has just done his hammy.

    So sickened! Had 5/6 scores correct in super 6..needed chelsea to score to make it 4-0 (and 6/6 correct) but it was Swansea who got the goal at Stamford Bridge.. Arsenal went onto score again to put the nail in the coffin.. sickened!!

    In a weekend where there was an abundance of captain choices, those that chose Rooney will benefit greatly from the auto captain rule, but what's different from last season is that people chose RVP to be VC, so no one can complain, however obvious it was, they still chose their VC (for those that had RVP of course too).

    Also, there is nothing to say Rooney wouldn't have done the same thing to Stoke.

    In other news, Young and Nani should hog set pieces today, direct free kicks in particular of course.

      Indeed - despite the inevitable outrage, VC is better.

      Not entirely sure how it works in Metro, but I think, I will get the first man off my bench as my captain - so instead of the Silva, Aguero or RVP choice I would have made - step forward Martin Petrov. Hmmm.
      Oh for a VC there too.
