With Rooney out, is it wise to captain Young? Or would it be better to get Young out for Nani and captain Nani? I also want to get Dzeko out of my squad, so would it be wiser to get Dzeko out before Young? Thoughts???
Open ControlsDzeko for ade?
Open ControlsAlready got Adebayor.
So with one free trade, it's basically Young to Nani or Dzeko to Agbonlahor.
Or, I could take an 8 point hit to do Young, Dzeko and Ward out for Nani, Suarez and Gabbidon (I know he's injured, but he's going to be a bench fodder).Open ControlsMaybe you shouldn't do anything, with man city having an easy game vs Blackburn coming up, aguero might not even be playing and dzeko will be playing with someone else and maybe scoring a few.
Plus I don't rate Suarez against the everton back 4, don't see him getting much from it and ur better to keep a man city player as they are more likely to get more points against Blackburn.
In my opinion keep ur transfer for next week, if you change nani to young and suddenly young scores 3 against a weak Norwich ur gonna be kicking yourself. And young should provide something out of that game anyway!!Open ControlsThanks. With Rooney out, Young is on free-kicks as well, right?
Open ControlsAre you sure out-of-form Dzeko is going to start ahead of impatient Tevez and Balotelli? He's not even getting the chances, let alone blowing them. If Mancini is going easy on Blackburn, he'll surely pair one regular with one newbie - Aguero/Dzeko with Tevez/Balotelli. And I seriously doubt Dzeko will be the regular picked.
I agree Utd - Norwich could be murder, and since there's uncertainty about striker choice and form, I'd definitely get as much Utd midfield cover as you can. Nani and Young may not be a bad idea for this match.Open Controls
young -> nani in my opinion is a wasted transfer, just chasing points. young could easily outscore nani any gameweek.
Open ControlsNah, Nani is the best
Open Controls
Anyone think Aguero could be rested at Blackburn? Likely to get hacked off the park if he plays anyway so could be Dzeko with Balotelli/Tevez.
Open ControlsGiven (Ruddy)
Jones Kompany Bosingwa Enrique (Hughes)
Silva Brunt Taarabt Sessegnon (Moses)
Adebayor Suarez (Rooney)
Trying to upgrade Hughes and my midfield.
Looking for suggestions.Open ControlsIf anything downgrade Hughes to Simpson or n.taylor.
Then upgrade brunt or rat to someone like Ramires/ a risky AndersonOpen Controls
Bannan and Murphy better than Moses and Taraabt?
Open ControlsOr Anderson, dyer
Open Controls
Why was Taarabt taken off free kicks? All the other QPR players who took them in the second half were hopeless.
Open ControlsCoz he is shit in the epl?
Open Controls
suarez v. adebayor for the foreseeable future?
Open ControlsIs there any chance of Nani being rested against Norwich next week? I could see Nani playing the CL game and Valencia starting against Norwich...
Open ControlsHow does Dzeko -> Berbatov for a freebie sound?
Open ControlsHi all,
What's the news on the injury sustained by Hernandez?Open ControlsVorm (Given)
Bosingwa, Kompany, Enrique (Simpson, Brown)
Nani, Silva, Mata, Jarvis (Moses)
Suarez, Dzeko, Agbonlahor
Suggestions?Open Controlsnah looks good - I did Dzeko out for Adebayor though
Open Controls
Got 2 freebies with this:
Vorm, Krul
Baines, Enrique, Kompany, De Laet, S Taylor
Moses, Silva, Cabaye, Brunt, Jarvis
Rooney, Dzeko, Suarez
Plan on playing WC next week.
Really want P. Jones in there for this next week, probably for Enrique.
For the other, do I go Dzeko-->Adebayor and catch the rise, or get a 5.6 middy for Brunt (Bannan or Dyer) and have faith in Dzeko?Open ControlsVery, very early in the season to be playing your wildcard.
Open ControlsThat's your opinion, but I will if necessary after the int. break. It seems a good time to, now that I know who's hitting form.
Open ControlsTrue, but there are also people on my team that are near useless and others who I would like to have on my team the whole season that are just going to go up in price.
Open ControlsWe all understand & indeed share your concerns about the wild price changes. It forces us to make transfers earlier than we would have wanted to. Then sitting back & hoping for injury an injury/suspension free team.
I'd rather stomach a few points hits than use the wilcard. We're not even a quarter of the way through the season.Open ControlsWe get two though, another one in the New Year, don't we? I'm 90% certain I'll WC in GW7->8 international break. Trade every single day and try to make enough profit to supercharge my season. Also means this particular week I can pick without considering long-term fixtures.
Open Controls
churchlill my man, how r u doing? Good performance yesterday, hows your team doing?
Open ControlsMr Bojan. How the devil are you Sir?
It was a good performance, all that bunch need to do is string several together so confidence drip feeds back into them. Achieving 4th place this season will be immensely difficult.
The first 4 weeks were utter crap. Weeks 5 & 6 things have looked up. Seriously considering tripling up on players form the Manchester clubs.
How about you?Open Controlssame here, awful captain choices first week i have a had a captain do something RVP. Torres, Bent all let me down...im 100 points off top of my mini league. Marathon not a sprint and all the guys in the league are shitting because i did the same last year lol...started slow then steam rollered them at the end.
As for us i don't know, i just don't, the club on the inside looks like a mess. Our signings were pants compared to what we lost. It would be funny if we somehow ended up winning something this season.
I need to ditch brunt and decide what to do with rooney..
even thought about rooney>adebayor brunt>nani for a hitOpen Controls
Not seen Bojan on here in ages! where you been?
Open ControlsWell well all coming out of hiding! lol
ive been reading posts rather then posting and hiding since my i have mis placed my trust in muppets on my team lol, plus im in the states again for 2 weeks which is usually when i see the normal people on here! 😀
how u doing?Open Controlshaha i understand 😀
i'm doing good, you gonna start posting on here again then?Open Controlsindeed i will, i usually wait till i see some of the guys i know/know talk sense and give decent advice..
hows your team doing?Open Controlsfair enough i guess 🙂 i'm doing alright, top of work league and mates money league, total 360 with both WCs intact but stressing over Rooney fitness

Am thinking for transferring Saurez out for Adebayor. Part of this is to free up cash to upgrade mid next week. Spurs have a favourable run ahead but am I overestimating the Ade potential?
I have been patient with Suarez so my growing impatience is a factor alsoOpen ControlsMight want to look into how long Defoe is expected to be out. Could affect Barn Door's output.
Just a thought.Open Controlsthanks it echoed another thought I had about the Ade play. He does seem good value at that price though
Open Controls
Suarez once again looked good as he has in most of the matches, and this time got the goal his performance deserved. Can't see why you'd drop him now particularly given your patience. Unless you mean the fixtures?
Open Controlswould usually ride out a couple of tough fixtures for a player of that price. My impetus to transfer out is really rooted in a need to free up some cash
Open ControlsAh well yeah. That extra 1.1 is useful and could be seen as getting an equal player in form.
I'm holding onto Suarez for now also in the hope that his price will recover a bit. Chance he'll rise this GW after scoring, and possibly getting bonus points tomorrow.Open Controls
Ade has similar potential to suarez imo but at a better price. If you can use the cash better elsewhere go for it.
I'm shifting suarez to aguero this week, will give me rvp, aguero and adebayor. Gw's 9,10 & 11 are a worry though suarez should score big there. Might end up getting him back in.Open ControlsImpressive forward line but it sounds like you're shifting him out partly because of the next two fixtures but want him back for the next three. Not sure that's so great because I think he does the business against top opposition too (he tore Arsenal apart, OK, you can joke about the defence, but other people who did so include Rooney, Nani, Young...) and Aguero might not even start against Blackburn because surely he'll play Bayern midweek. At the very least wait and see about that transfer.
Open ControlsYeah all good points and I have considered them. Suarez is my favourite player atm too but I definitely want to bring in aguero. I reckon he'll be top scorer this season and is only getting more expensive. Other option is swap rvp for aguero which was the plan before this week but he's really hitting form now.
Open ControlsMmmmm Aguero's unstoppable price rises are bugging me. I think this will be my last GW without Aguero, if my guess is correct then he may be rested against Blackburn, fall in price during the international break at which point I'll snap him up. Probably want to keep RVP for now. Guaranteed starter and the team's goals surely will go through him.
Open Controls
thanks all for input
Open Controls
Schwarzer or Vorm to start next weekend?
Open Controls1) Is Arsenal - Spurs going to be high-scoring and is it worth risking a punt on RVP or Ade? Stats anyone?
2) Drogba v Bolton away, Suarez v Everton away, Agbonlahor v Wigan home, even Ba v Wolves away... and (who knows if they'll play) Berbatov v Norwich home, Dzeko v Blackburn away: who's going to be in the points?Open Controls1. The strength of both teams is upfront and it's a tie that usually produces a few goals
2. Drogba, Agbonlahor
wolves defense is much better at homeOpen Controls1. I haven't got any stats but I'd be stunned if there weren't a lot of goals, there always are in matches between the two. Spurs are looking strong at the moment in particular, and I expect them to win it.
2. Lots and lots of good options next week. Lots of legit captain choices and I've got a lot of nice options in my squad this week. I hope I'm going to kick start my season.Open Controls1. Hmm well then it looks like Ade/RVP are both worth chasing. Probably Ade since he's miles cheaper, got better supply and on a roll. It's hard for me to pick mids for the game because Arsenal don't have an obvious hub (unconvinced by Arteta) and Spurs have so many options!
2. I was leaning towards Drogba and Agbonlahor, probably the Drogba. Only put off by Chelsea playing away at Bolton, but Bolton do have an awful defence. Which is more important?Open Controls
I need a mid for less than 8.0. What's the consensus on meireles or ramires? Haven't watched much chelsea this season, what sort of roles are they playing? It's either that or a mid price option like cabaye. Hard to find consistent mid price returns this season 😕
Open ControlsSame question, and how does the Chelsea midfield line up? My vague impression is Mikel as DM, Ramires/Meireles/the rest CMs, Mata AM, but I don't watch Chelsea mutch.
Open ControlsI think Murphy(fulham) is worth a harder look than Cabaye, though I like him also as much of their play seems to find its way through him. Murphy on pens, freekicks
Open ControlsRamires is starting to look like a nice option. Is playing further forward than he did last year and he gets up and down the pitch a lot which means that he'll inevitably get into some nice positions. Should have scored that cut across goal vs United and got two at the weekend. Wouldn't be surprised to see him get 10-15 goals this season.
I can't see him missing many minutes for Chelsea and is a nice cheap way into their attacking returns. Definately on my watchlist.
Avoid Mereiles though, he seems to be playing the holding role from what I've seen.Open ControlsGood to know, cheers mate
Open Controlsi had considered trading mata out for nani and bringing Ramirez in. Has looked good and seems to be an integral part of their attack at this point
Open ControlsI'm certainly getting sold on ramires. Last game he had 6 shots, 3 the game before that. Seems he's getting into scoring positions more often. Seems a worthwhile punt for a few weeks at least with nice fixtures. Cheers lads.
Open ControlsInteresting quote I just found:
Chelsea midfielder Ramires credits his sparkling start to the season to new manager Andre Villas-Boas.
The Brazil international has been impressive for Chelsea in the opening games of the new season.
"This season everything has started great for me, so the arrival of Villas-Boas has really helped," smiled Ramires.
"He was the coach of Porto and knew me from the times at Benfica. He has made me comfortable on the field and urged me to take advantage of my pace and movement."Open Controls
Not a bad plan. Mata should outscore Ramires for the season but I'd say Ramires is decent Chelsea coverage and it's good if it allows you to go for Nani over a mid priced option.
I personally have a midfield atm of Silva Young Nani Petrov Dyer. Got Nani in this week for Brunt by downgrading Dzeko to Crouch. Could have done straight Young to Nani but wanted both for United coverage this week.
I may well do Young to Ramires or Mata next week, I'm not sure yet. May well want to release some funds to try and get Aguero or RVP, maybe even Torres in a few weeks. I've lost all faith in my decisions so far this season. Even more so now I don't have Rooney(c) to rely on.Open ControlsIt could be a lot worse mate, just check my ranking 🙁 Never struggled so much in 4 seasons of this game.
Mata looks a great option, should get heaps of assists if the strikers can put em away for him.Open ControlsI'd be in that general area without my Rooney captain for sure. This week looks like it's going to end up scraping 40 in his absence. He's the only thing that's kept me where I am, I think I've only had two or 3 other players put in a decent show in 6 weeks. I'm just looking at the majority of the rest of my team in anguish, nothing seems to be going for me bar Rooney.
Ye it's going to be a difficult decision between Ramires and the cash or Mata in for Young next week. Think those two are the best bet for their coverage for the meantime.Open Controls
You have good possibilities ahead. Mine will be a bit more difficult to orchestrate and will probably involve a hit or two which I try to avoid. Decisions, decisions
Open ControlsI've gone for a hit this week, not a big fan but once in a while they can be useful. Wanted to have two United players other than Rooney incase he doesn't make it. I'll try not to take another one for the next few weeks now.
Open Controlsi have not taken any this year so am prepared to spend some points if I think it really sets my team up
Open Controls
Nice one, I think I'm going to bring him in. At 7.0 it's very hard to see anyone else with such good coverage and potential.
Open Controls
2 free transfers and a wildcard - any ideas for this week?
Given, Ruddy
Bosingwa, Dunne, Brown, Simpson, Senderos
Nani, Silva, Sessegnon, Sinclair, Moses
RVP, Suarez, Dzeko
Bank 0.0m
Thinking either
a) Dunne & Dzeko -> Drogba/Hernandez & N Taylor or
b) Dzeko -> AdebayorOpen ControlsHi Jinkswick,
B option is a must.
You must have had Adebayor in your squad. 😀
Take
Dzeko ➡ Agbonlahor/BestOpen Controls
Rooney stick or hit ?
Rooney ➡ Aguero ?Open ControlsAguero is the only player I would consider selling Rooney for
Open ControlsIs Aguero worth ?
And If Rooney comes in form again I have to buy him for 12.5 !!
Instead of 12.. 🙁Open Controlsthat's your call though. If I owned rooney I would simply hang on to him
Open Controls
Taking a 4 pt hit this week to ship out Rooney and N'Zogbia, which is the better option:
a) Drogba & Arteta
b) Suarez & Nani
c) Agbonlabor & Nani
d) Best & NaniOpen ControlsAde +o.1
Moses -0.1
Put me in 0.1 short situation again.. 🙁Open ControlsI just pulled the trigger and it would not go through at the price. When I redid the trade the player I was bringing in had gone up 0.1
ouchOpen Controls
Any idea what time bps will be given today?
Open Controls10 am
Open Controls
Should I sell Dzeko for Ade???
I am thinking more price-wise than points wise right now. Is it worth it?? Is it worth having Ade over DzekoOpen ControlsAnyone here have the code for top 1000 ANY season league code?
Please let me join..Open ControlsGrrr...was abt to replace moses this week...well he dropped finally...now thnkng to stick with him in my bench for this week and look for other options
my team at the moment
Given Vrom
Kompany Boswinga Simpson N.Taylor Brown
Silva Mata Nani Sinclair Moses
RVP Suarez Best
wht likely transfer should i do next week??
few players on my radars are -- one from ade\defoe\vdv , drogba , agero
Ne idea???Open ControlsMoses ➡ Tiote/Ben arfa/Larrson
Your Team is good but needs some Tweaking.
Manage to do Best ➡ Ade.Open Controls
Haven't got the chance to read through, but is Ramsey getting the extra assist points? It has been allocated to Sagna now so I guess they cbf changing it to Ramsey?
To Chelsea fans, is Drogba nailed on to start the next 3 games now? Or will AVB will still opt for Anelka?
CheersOpen Controls
