Okay…you might have noticed – things have changed around here.

After months and months of time, money, sweat and tears – we thought we’d roll out the new layout just to see if things held together. It’s a gamble – it may disappear before your very eyes and revert back to the old Scout. Then again, it might be here to stay.

We hope that all goes smoothly – the that the new layout settles on our servers and will provide the basis for a new era for the site. Let’s see how we go.

There is more to do (we know the Watchlist is incomplete and the poll is old). More features to roll out – particularly within the comments code. For now, we’re taking baby steps – although this is a pretty big first stride.

So then, if you stayed with us long enough to reach this ungodly hour, you get to the see the new look on the live servers – a proper first.

We hope you like.

Ps: apologies for any lost comments from the last couple of hours – needs must I’m afraid.

    suarez, adebayor, rooney

    Bought in rooney on wc last week, so losing cash when selling not an issue,

    Worth bringing in RVP for 2 weeks when he plays sunderland and stoke at home and then get rooney back in after?

    Rooney has liverpool away and city at home so tougher fixtures but raises his game against tougher teams.

    This could all be mute when RVP gets injured during internationals, but want soemthing to consider to pass the time!

        yeah appreciate what your saying, I'm playing catch up after a dreadful start so RVP is tempting me with his low ownership.

        If I keep rooney and he scores well, I won't make up much ground due to his ownership, on the flip side If I don't have rooney and and he scores well I'll be even more behind!

        Tempted to keep rooney and hope my other players come up trumps!

          Well the way I see it is that there are a lot of GW left and catching up won't be done this week or next and like you say it would be a real kick in the teeth if Rooney scored big and you sold him.

    what is the best way to use the money on strikers?
    2 cheapies(under7) and a big one like rooney and aguero?
    rooney/aguero with forwards b/w 8-10(suarez,ade,dzek)

    or invest heavily and have rooney and aguero both in the team?
    just wanted to know how you guys are spending the money.

      It was only 2 weeks ago that you would have been ridiculed for suggesting a strike force with 2 cheapies...

      I guess it allows you to get more expensive midfielders in but I would stick with 2 more expensive players until the cheaper strikers prove that they can maintain their form. I may buckle and change myself before GW8's deadline though to be honest!

          Definitely get shot of Dzeko. I think Sturridge is the man for Chelsea coverage plus their fixtures are good. You could keep Hoolahan and upgrade him/someone else next game week.
