Roberto Mancini looks set to take on Villa without Sergio Aguero, whilst threatening to rest an array of players fatigued by their international exploits. Rotation nightmares await us.

On the other side of Manchester, Alex Ferguson ponders the merits of a recall for centre-back warrior Nemanja Vidic after his return to action for Serbia in midweek; Chris Smalling, Rio Ferdinand and Jonny Evans are all competing for starts in a United back four that will take on a fully fit Liverpool squad at Anfield on Saturday.

Harry Redknapp has no such luxury – Emmanuel Adebayor, Sandro and Aaron Lennon are all rated at 50-50 for Tottenham’s trip to St James’ Park to take on unbeaten Newcastle.

Get details of this, plus all of today’s rumblings and our predicted lineups in our Team News section, while our Twitter feed continues to provide direct links to all the updates, press conferences and other relevant hearsay.

Out: Aguero and Young (already had Nani)
    In: VanPersie and VanDerVaart

No injury, but will prob be on the bench with a 4-5-1 formation including Park, Giggs, Fletcher, Carrick, Nani and Rooney

    Vorm
    Simpson Bosingwa Kompany
    Moses Sinclair Silva(c) Nani(v) SWP
    Adebayor Suarez

    Subs: Given Aguero Brown Senderos

    I've got 3 choices..

    A) Leave well alone and save my transfer
    B) Aguero --> Sturridge
    C) Aguero/Ade --> Sturridge/RVP (4pt hit)

    Thoughts?

Still play LaWhore, better chance of points plus a sort of insurance for the case of no cleanie for City

I feel like ill be sorry if I dont play him. Like CFCTom said, I was leaning towards Dyer. i think Gabby'll find it hard to score against City.

AV have Norwich at home next week - the Sturridge in for Gabby might backfire but I don't trust Villa!

McCleish's tactics vs City will be to sit on the edge of their box, Agbonlahor is in good form but City will handle him and I dont see Villa attacking much in the game. The goal is likely to come from Bent if anyone or from a pen/free kick, I dont think Agbon takes either. Whereas Dyer is an attacking threat against a team that they know well from the championship and Swansea should win that game, even though they're away. They are a better team than they were last year while Norwich are not. Simpson has little goal/assist threat and Spurs should score. Dyer's on my bench though so what do I know...

    How does this look?

    Vorm (Given)
    Enrique Bosingwa Kompany
Nani Nasri (doubt) Brunt (doubt) Jarvis
    Rooney Ade (doubt) Dzeko (doubt)

    Subs: Dyer Simpson Brown

So 4 possible non-starters, but 2 decent bench players could come in. Should I get a definite starter in for one of the doubts, or save the transfer? Was thinking:

    1. Dzeko - Suarez
    2. Ade - Sturridge
    3. Brunt - Petrov/Bannan

    Any suggestions much appreciated.

i actually think you should do it. Not having 2 of your forwards play tomorrow is going to hit your team hard.

Suarez looks a good buy for the next few Gwks. and Sturridge has form on his side. Go for it.

    Vorm (Given)
Baines Simpson De Laet (Brown Collins)
    Mata Nani Sinclair Moses (Sess)
    RvP Agbon Dzeko

1 FT with 0.9 in the bank.

I'm confused whether to improve my defence first or get rid of Dzeko/Sess. Should i take a hit?

Is it worth a 4 point hit for Dzeko and K.Henry out, Defoe and Sinclair in?

Or just use the freebie and replace Dzeko with Suarez.

You're taking RVP out just because Arsenal go to Chelsea? Surely you'd want him back in the following week...
