Back after our own international break, I bundle Mark into the studio for another podcast and slap him around the face with my Wildcard.

Rusty after a week of absence, we’re forced to get our tongues contorted around a variety of team names, even more baffling than Mark’s unshakable faith in Victor Moses. Yes, indeed, Wigan’s most unfortunate Fantasy flop gets another airing, with Mark mercilessly banishing the Latics to the Championship – surely the only solution to his blind spot.

Lamps om the rise tonight. Hmmm.... 11.6 is quite cheap, on penalties, Chelsea scoring atm, subbed early in the CL, AVB showed him that he must play his best game and not a lot of lads don't know this but he has best ppg from all the midfielders. Also low ownership and in the past when I was chasing with Lamps in my team and especially captaining him..... Well he made me proud 😉

Silva, Lamps and VDV fighting for 2 spots in my team ATM. Maybe is good to take the penalty takers and KUN upfront.... Hmmm.... Thinking, thinking, thinking. Here is hope for quality fantasy related discussion 😉

I agree- I had him early on in the season and captained him for West Brom and Norwich at home. People saying he was playing too deep and getting too old!! I worried for him a few weeks ago when he was rotated but looks like he's going to play most games still. When Chelsea have a great fixture, he's a good captain shout.

I didn't post anything for a while. But now I need a help.
I won my mini league last year but now, I am chasing 85 points lead, thanks to my bed start.
    So, my team is
    Given (Vorm)
Kompany - RTaylor - Simpson (Brown, De Laet)
Nani - Nasri - Ramsey - Moses (Ferguson)
    Rooney - Suarez (c) - Agbonlahor
I have 4.0 in the bank and one free transfer.
A - I planed to save transfer and next week do Brown to Boyata and Agbonlahor to Aguero
B - But, maybe to do now Nasri to Gerrard and next week Suarez to Aguero
    C - Or something else

    Opinions please...

I'm not sure about Gerrard, i reckon he'll play a bit deep with Lucas suspended. Maybe a 4-5-1 with Adam and Henderson in mid, Downing and Kuyt either side Suarez.

Could also be a 442: Henderson/Kuyt - Adam - Gerrard - Downing, with Suarez and Kuyt/Carroll up top.

    Thoughts?

I'm certainly in the minority with Enrique, but as a K and Bos owner it then came down to Shawcross or Enrique. Pool don't guarantee CS like they did under Rafa and they don't have great fixtures beyond the next 3. I'm perhaps doing Enrique a disservice but Shawcross will churn out CS at home.

Any transfer i should consider for a hit? At the moment my team for GW9 is:

    Given
    Enrique Simpson Bosingwa
    Sinclair Ramsey Silva SWP
    RVP Suarez Sturridge

subs - Vorm, Kompany, Shawcross, Moses

I got £3.3m in the bank so have a few options. I'm guessing first one to be shown the door should really be SWP. I could get any midfielder who's priced at £9.8m or under. Possible candidates are VDV, Kuyt, Nasri, Mata or maybe Johnson. What ya reckon? Any of them worth taking a 4 point hit for?

SWP to VDV for me! If he fails Sat you won't mind too much, if he tears it up it will be a consolation... 😉

lol this is true! I'm far from convinced about VDV this season although he does continue to rack up the points no matter where he plays or for how long

I'll likely leave it as it is tbh, just going over a few possibilities really. Captain will be either RVP or Suarez. Probably RVP as he's served me well as captain so far plus i always favour having a penalty taker as captain.

What do you guys think, which pair will score the most in next 3 GW?
    A - Mata, Sturidge
    B - VdV, Adebayor
    C - Gerrard, Suarez
    D - Silva, Aguero
    E - Nani, Rooney

Itching to take another 4-point hit, this time to dump Young for Mata. Anyone with me?

Have Evra's allegations just been forgotten now? Difficult one this. Suarez = irascible little scrotum perfectly capable of Racism. Evra = irascible litte shit perfectly capable of false allegation.

Suarez had turned out to be a complete arsehole long before Evra's allegations - he is all of a piece, imo.

Clearly evra feels threatened by luis' awesomeness so he's gone on the attack. He no doubt just said out of love something about cupid's trigger.

    My captain history:

    GW1: Carrol 2 points
    GW2: Torres 1 point
GW3: Suarez 2 points ( To add insult to injury Rooney VC)
GW4: Dzeko 0 points (Rooney VC saved me)
    GW5: Rooney 4 points
    GW6: Rooney 0 points ( Mata VC 3)
    GW7: Rooney 5 points
    GW8: Silva 1 point

The highest my captain has ever scored this season is 5 points. 🙁

BE WARNED I am captaining Suarez this GW so I would advise you to avoid him... If my history is anything to go by...... 😀

Your choices have generally been poor and just chasing points. No sympathy here, sorry. Rooney away at Stoke annoys me.

With Larsson suspended should I play Sinclair & Kompany or Sinclair & Dyer?

Sinc, Dyer for me, United will score at least one. And Kompany just scored so its unlikely well see him do that again.

    My dear friends and co-conspirators:

Who do you think will score more this weekend, VdV or Nani?

I have Ade, Saurez and RvP up top. Shipping out Nani will leave me with no ManU Cover. I can get Nani back in the next week or two, without loss in $$$'s. I am deperately trying to make ground on my mini-league.

My current mid and front are:

    Silva Nani Petrov Arteta Moses

    Rvp Ade Suarez

Thank you in advance for your enlightened and well intentioned thoughts.
