With a favourable run of fixtures and five wins from six games, Tottenham look likely to receive some strong Fantasy investment over the upcoming weeks. In particular, two players stand head and shoulders above the rest- Rafael Van der Vaart and Emmanuel Adebayor.

Van der Vaart is, arguably, the form Fantasy Premier League (FPL) player right now. The Dutchman has scored in each of his last four games, netting five times in total and returned 11 bonus points in that previous quartet of fixtures, making him top-scoring player for bonus so far this season. Adebayor’s arrival on loan from Man City has proved a shrewd piece of business by Harry Redknapp and, after six games, has 3 goals, 4 assists and 6 bonus points to his name already.

In this latest Members article, we delve into our own ICT Index and Opta stats to analyse the pair’s performances for the season so far to aid those weighing up the cost and benefits of acquiring their talent ahead of Gameweek 10…

Does anyone reckon milner will get a full game? Rested in the Cup so you'd think so.

I have Silva and don't want to lose RVP, Adebayor or Agbon -> Aguero/Balotelli so he could be my only option...

thats exactly why i came here, to figure out is Milner gonna play! And aint really helpful! Just more confusing!
In order to change Suarez for Aguero need to go -4 for one more transfer! Adam is out definitively, but for Milner or Johnson ?????

Is Suarez to Torres (-4) a punt too far? Could bring in Aguero aswell. I’ve taken no hits so far this year.

I want a differential so I'd say no, but I am backing Torres and if Suarez is out I can't think of a better option. Not sure whether to leave him as (v) or upgrade him to (c) in hopes of a massive payoff.

Stoke fans on Stoke forums think that he is excellent ATM and Huth is home sick. So he gets the nod before Huth, who probably could leave in Jan. But Highinbotham is back to fitness which is certain a threat. I think he'll start this GW, but long term is tough call to say, that he'll keep it. I think he isn't long term bet, but short term, welll what the hell so be it. If he plays the home games in a row I would be more than satisfied but I am not sure that he'll do.

Read their fan forum, he seems to be first choice and (suprisingly) has played pretty well so far.
Huth seems to want out and is out of favour at the moment, so it seems pretty good at the moment for long-term, but is there ever really a long-term in FPL?

I'm getting itchy over all this Suarez out talk.

    Currently i have:

    Given Kenny
    Saylor Boss Woodgate Warnock Jose
    Silva Nani Cabaye Eagles Dyer
    RVP Ade Suarez

There are lots of issues here:

I need a new GK, Given has been a let down
The back four needs a shake up and i may make a change there this week
The midfield is ok, i'll do Cabaye out for Drente when the fixtures pick up for Everton
Up top having no Aguerro is a risk but a 4 ponit hit is it worth it?

Waiting for update so I can waste an afternoon blasting away on Battlefield 3 [makes a change from blasting away on yo' mama] ahem, so I've made my two free transfers - Mata and Woodgate OUT VDV and Wilkinson IN leaving me with

    ___________Vorm__________

    _Bosingwa_S.Taylor_Wilkinson_

    Cabaye__VDV__Silva__N.Dyer

    ____RVP___Rooney__Suarez

Subs: Krul, Warnock, Bannan, De Laet

So my bench is turgid, not quite happy with my midfield and my defence is a bit shit. However its not a bad side for next week, so I am reluctant to get rid of Cabaye or S.Taylor, but I was thinking of Tchyoii in for Bannan - is that worth a -4 point hit considering my lineup?

I'd probably do it, considering the doubts around Suarez' fitness - Bannan is def out, de Laet never plays, Silva could be rested so you're low on nailed on starters.

I've had a punt on Tchoyi in Forward Thinking, if that helps...

I know what you are saying ffs...he said he has been doing fine for 3 years so I wanted to see if it was true, I don't care if people don't link their team, but when someone says such things (especially when it is about something I am considering, Aguero in for a hit, then I would like to see if its true)
But..speaking of hypocrites, you are hardly the person to be calling me such things, although im not suprised, no other person on here stalks me like you do 😉

true it's hard to quantify it. it's not just the points being made up by the transfer, but also transfers you wont have to do the following weeks.

in my case i need to do an 8 point hit to sort myself long term, or a single transfer to sure up this GW. can't decide

Personally, I am a very short term player. I hate planning long-term. So many variables. Take each week as it comes and try to field the best side you can and if you need to a take a point hit then so be it.
