Find your seats quickly – Saturday’s match action is just minutes away with United putting pride on the line at Goodison in a noon kick-off. With that in mind, our Dugout Discussion chatroom is already open, soaking up your reactions from now, right through to this evening as all the day’s matches unfold…

The “traitor” Wayne Rooney returns to the club he once called home to kick off our bumper package of Premier League football. Teams in full are…

Everton XI: Howard, Hibbert, Baines, Jagielka, Heitinga, Bilyaletdinov, Osman, Coleman, Rodwell, Fellaini, Saha

United XI: De Gea, Jones, Vidic, Evans, Evra, Fletcher, Cleverley, Park, Welbeck, Rooney, Hernandez

While the half-time oranges are being devoured up at Goodison Park another big game kicks off at 12:45 as Chelsea welcome Fernando Torres back to the fold for the visit of Arsenal to Stamford Bridge.

The action then kicks into top gear with another five fixtures scheduled to festoon the three o’clock hours with all sorts of action – closest eyes will inevitably be on how much “rest” and rotation Roberto Mancini affords his City side at home to Wolves ahead of their crucial trip to (recently Guissepe Rossi-less) Villarreal in midweek.

The eighth and final fixture of the day sees the Dugout Discussion screen Roy Hodgson against the side that threw him overboard like flotsam and jetsam – whether Luis Suarez has recovered from his Carling Cup heroics will undoubtedly be keen on many minds.

Thinking so, looking at the upcoming fixtures. Not really gonna want to play him against Liv, Chel, Ars, and even Newcastle may suprise a few people there.

Why would you want to wildcard? The only player that has done anything this gameweek is Robin Van Persie and considering most people have Rooney/Aguero, if you want him, it is a straight swap

    A'noon all. Team is

    -----------Vorm---Bego----------
    --Richards--Saylor--Bos--(Naylor-Gabbidon)
    --Silva--VDV--Pilk--Ramsey--(Ferg)
    --Roon--Aguerro--Ade

    Have 0.3m in bank

Really tempted to drop Roon for RVP but utd fixtures get tasty soon too. But roon playing deep it appears and not on great form. Maybe Cleverly for Pilkington to get some utd coverage. Any thoughts !?!!?

Form is better than fixtures. 'Coverage' is overrated, e.g. Arteta for Arsenal, Ramires/Mikel for Chelsea and so on.

I'd get rid of Bos, Chelsea 1 clean sheet in 10 - none for 9 consecutive PL games.

      Aguero to RVP if possible...
Bosingwa to Jones for United 'coverage'... 🙂

No knee jerk, but clearly swapping RVP > Aguero last week was a huge mistake, and I need to get him back pronto. Consious that his stock is probably going to rise overnight so I need to take a 4pt hit to get him back in tonight, Bosingwa is a dead man walking, and after today's result his times up.

Took out Mata Nani and Best and took the armband off of rvp to bring in Balotelli (C) Walters and Van der a Vaart for a 4 point hit. Completely gutted. Could be sitting on 55, but instead on 25. Why do I ever think 4 point hits are a good idea.

Had 40 at one point, then the defence horror show began...back down to 27, up to Suarez, VDV(c) and S Taylor to save my week.

On the plus side put a cheeky quid on Joe Allen to score at 16-1. Plus £2 on a sunderland draw.

I agree the average will be low. Always is if Rooney (most casual's default captain) does poorly. Lots of low ownership players scored well this week.

Should have another 6 to come from RVP as well (assist and bonus).

Thoughts on Kompany to Jones this week? Next week was one of the few that Kompany looked a good option for in the near future. With Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal to come I'll be benching him three times anyway and Utd have great fixtures. Smalling being out reduces the risk of Jones being rotated to.

    As I'm typing this... IBRA!!!

I'm benching Kompany...only one game. I got him for 6 and he's 6.3 now, so can afford an inevitable .1 drop easily.

Bosingwa for Jones....now you're talking. That is the exact move I'm considering this week.
