Just one game today. However, judging by the final results of our Captain’s Poll there may be a lot riding on this for a lot of Fantasy Managers out there – yours truly included. The Dugout Discussion welcomes Spurs and QPR to their technical areas…

Spurs XI: Friedel; Walker, Kaboul, King, Assou-Ekotto; Lennon, Parker, Modric, Bale; Van der Vaart; Adebayor

QPR XI: Kenny; Young, Hall, Ferdinand, Traore; Barton, Faurlin, Derry, Wright-Phillips, Taarabt; Helguson

Tottenham make just one change from the side which won at Blackburn last week with Ledley King returning to the fray in place of Sebastian Bassong with QPR following suit in the single change stakes. Armand Traore returns in place of Clint Hill.

Then, when this tie is said and done, we go back to our lives and wait for Monday’s bonus point haul and Stoke playing host to Newcastle in the final fixture of the gameweek tomorrow evening.

    Seriously thinking of getting rid of Ade. Might end up leaving him for one more week but hes rotting up a forward spot. Definitely not in form last couple of games

          Really? It seems like goals are so heavily weighted in the new bonus point system. Bale's getting 3 for sure, no clean sheet so defenders out, VdV is a bonus point machine, look at the games with Wigan/Arsenal/Newcastle where he got subbed off at 60 minutes and still got 2-3 points...

      Yep he played the free-kick to him.

      So unless FPL think that you can dribble from a free kick then it will get given as no Chelsea players touched it after Walcott got it.

            To an extent. I was exaggerating however my point still stands. Terry has lost his legs, Cole isn't playing his best, the Bos is a liability and Luiz is nothing short of a joke. Ivanovic and Alex are decent but don't seem to be so favoured for some reason.

            But yes, AVB seems to be very naive in terms of how he sets his team out. Already conceded as many as they did all season under Mourinho in his first year which is just incredible.

              They are defending too high for someone as slow as Terry, so yes, they need to change their defenders if they are going to keep playing this way...

      I think that's a bit premature really, he hasn't had the greatest game but him and Defoe play totally different roles. For example it was Ade's height which enabled him to control Friedal's goal kick which then led to the build up for a Spurs goal.

      Defoe competes with VDV not really the otherway round, but we will see.

    I am sick of stupid questions on here like "why didn't Kompany get a clean sheet after being sent off." So here is the rule from the FPL site please all read and if you have a question check the FPL site first.

    Red Cards
    If a player receives a red card, they will continue to be penalised for goals conceded by their team.

    Red card deductions include any points deducted for yellow cards
