I think making the EA PPI part of this article available for members only is a little uneccessary. Members rightly get access to plenty of stats and other features and benefits not available to all, but this just smacks of us and them. We will all know in the morning anyway and it gives members no help other than being smug at having a preview of who will get what bonus before the riff raff.
There are many non members who contribute far more to the site than many members who just use it to glean info and give nothing back.Open Controls-

You miss my point friend, the members are being told who is pretty much guaranteed to get bonus but it is kept secret from the rest of us untill the morning. What advantage other than laughing at all the posts regarding likely points do they get?

The OPTA stats were used to create this article, OPTA stats cost money for the licence and members help to fund that licence. I don't see why random people entering this site should get access to articles without any form of contribution in terms of funding the licence. I know you contribute in terms of comments, but that doesn't help to pay for the licence.

FPL.
Last week I made 2 transfers and I fully expected to do well. I sat in to watch the matches and enjoy the points rolling in. I get 41 points, minus 4 points. First red arrow in ages.
This week, one player suspended and 2 doubtful going into the week. I made no transfers so I'd have two free for the next gameweek, I was willing to sacrifice points. I didn't make a point of watching the matches, I had to work, wasn't really expecting much. I end up with 60 points, even with three players who didn't play.
Moral of the story? Ignore the game, don't put any effort in and you'll do well.Open Controls-

No they're not. They are reliable to the extent that they predict who will get bonus but very often get the 3-2-1 in the wrong order. If you read the totalfpl article the guy admits to 8 out of 24 being 100% right

read it, they offer a good indication of where the bonus points are heading more weeks than not, and are the nearest method of finding out where the bonus points are heading unless you are member, take it or leave it
