The final batch of Premier League fixtures before another international break, has three games closing out Gameweek 11. Not the biggest box office attractions on offer today it has to be said, but the Dugout Discussion is open for business regardless.

We start at Molineux with a tussle between two sides with the worst current form in the league, as Wolves play host to Wigan. With just a solitary point between them in their last six games, it’s no surprise to see them threatening the wrong end of the table. Here is the team news for the game that already qualifies for “six-pointer” status…

Wolves XI: Hennessey, Stearman, Johnson, Berra, Ward, Edwards, Henry, Guedioura, Hunt, O’Hara, Doyle.

Wigan XI: Al Habsi, Boyce, Gohouri, Figueroa, Alcaraz, Watson, Moses, Diame, Jones, Di Santo, Rodallega.

Mick McCarthy names an unchanged eleven from their trip the Etihad Stadium, whilst Roberto Martinez makes two changes from the side that lost to Fulham last week. Gary Caldwell is suspended so Steve Gohouri starts, and Franco Di Santo is preferred to Albert Crusat.

Then it’s down the M1 to Craven Cottage for a London derby between Fulham and Tottenham and, not televised, there’s a rematch of the 2011 FA Cup semi-final between Bolton and Stoke City going on.

Keep track of all the action as it happens in our Dugout Discussion chatroom.

Is it preposterous to transfer out Larsson? I'd bring in Drenthe and probably not get any cover, though possibly Bendtner.

Annoys me how he's owned by a lot of people too.

Am I absolutely crazy to WC:

    Given - Ruddy
    Evans - Enrique - Simpson - Gabbidon - Shawcross
    Nani - Silva - VDV - Sinclair - Dyer
    VP - Adebayor - Agbonlahor

    into:
    Vorm - Westwood
    Evans - Wilkinson - Simpson - Brown - N Taylor
    Sessegon - Silva - VDV - Drenthe - Dyer
    VP - Rooney - Aguero

    ?

Defence is pretty weak but good fixtures. If Evans gets playtime I'm happy. I initially wanted to get Baines instead of Drenthe but can't find a decent way.

It's only fair surely? Unsurprisingly i have RVP as captain but if it did touch Gervinho then it's his assist simple as that. If it's not 100% clear either way i believe RVP should and will keep the assist

Because the question still needs to be asked. Just because me/you haven't seen anything definitive doesn't mean evidence isn't out there. There is no doubt in my mind that the cut back hit someone so that in itself is enough of a reason to investigate further.

Like i said, if there is any doubt i think RVP should keep it. At the moment there seems to be PLENTY of doubt which is good 🙂

Maybe in the interest of accuracy? It's not Granville's fault if FPL have incorrectly given the assist to RVP, he's just asking them to clear the matter up.
Presumably they have access to HD footage of the goal to be definitive about the assist.
Should be berating the FPL game for giving assists in contentious matters, before any review has taken place. Not Granville.
Wish FPL wouldn't do it, there'll be a lot of unhappy people if his Gervinho is proved to have had the final touch. Same with the Nani assist.

Careful - it's the Press Association that have given the assist to RVP. The FPL data is direct from them (hence the Welbeck to Nani switch mid-game - 'corrected' by PA).

The chaps at FPL can now go back and review contentious assists, which presumably is what they are doing (for both RVP and Nani).

True enough but it's a learned reaction. If a toddler falls over but gets back up it's no biggie. Another toddler experiencing a similar fall but starts crying is going to get minded etc. It's an assumption that if you don't fall over or if you get back up quickly you're clearly grand. I agree with your point completely though.

Would he? It happens all the time - player gets fouled, carries on (often off-balance), ref plays advantage, player gets the shot off but fails to score and the ref doesn't bring it back for the foul. Suarez had one like that last week.

yeah he's in there purely to save cash. But Robinson has no clean sheets as well (I think)! So is it better to go for someone like Vorm, even though he's got United next week?

Just looking at Wellbeck's game time take out his time out for injury he has played most if not all games.

Could be worth a punt if fergie keeps rooney in a deeper role for a while as they have been more solid sincc he moved rooney there.

And wellbeck is only 6.8 million

imo there's only ba/studge/agbon, who are solid medium term options. blackburn haven't found scoring form at all this season. why would u wanna waste ur money on them? another moses story.

So you think i should keep faith in Sturridge.

He has been poor since i got him.

im defo keep him for 2 more gws atleast. both at home. he's real value for a 90% nailed-on 6.7 option at a top 4 side. he'll come good against wolves for sure by gw13.

his suitable replacement is only ba (as i have agbon as well). he doesn't have decent fixtures. also none of the high-priced forwards are doing exceptionally great, bar RVP.

hence im using a "stick to your strikers" formula this gw.

Once Anderson and Cleverley are fit, Rooney will move back up front. I think Vidic being back has helped us become more solid, rather than Rooney playing in the middle.

Im very worried i had him down as a season keeper but losing some set peices yesterday.

If he loses pens its the last straw for me.

I hope not mate but if he loses pens what value is he anymore.

Baines freekicks are quality as well so hope he is still on some set pieces.

I think i will keep him till jan wildcard and at least then I have given him a good chance and better fixtures coming as well.

If I sold him and he did well i would be gutted.

So i thought my considering of a Sturridge, Bendtner and RvP frontline was stupid because of only one big-hitter, i come on here and there seems to be an array of people suggesting it.

Bosingwa > Walker, Assou-Ekotto, Jones or Enrique
    Moses > Drenthe
    Suarez > Bendtner or Adebayor

With the Suarez transfer, if i go for Adebayor it means i can't afford Drenthe but with the Bendtner transfer it means i have like 3.0 in the bank.

I already have RVP and Sturridge, and am seriously considering Suarez > Bendtner with a view towards using the suprlus to bring in fat Frank the following gw. I have already done Bosingwa > Jones.
