The final batch of Premier League fixtures before another international break, has three games closing out Gameweek 11. Not the biggest box office attractions on offer today it has to be said, but the Dugout Discussion is open for business regardless.

We start at Molineux with a tussle between two sides with the worst current form in the league, as Wolves play host to Wigan. With just a solitary point between them in their last six games, it’s no surprise to see them threatening the wrong end of the table. Here is the team news for the game that already qualifies for “six-pointer” status…

Wolves XI: Hennessey, Stearman, Johnson, Berra, Ward, Edwards, Henry, Guedioura, Hunt, O’Hara, Doyle.

Wigan XI: Al Habsi, Boyce, Gohouri, Figueroa, Alcaraz, Watson, Moses, Diame, Jones, Di Santo, Rodallega.

Mick McCarthy names an unchanged eleven from their trip the Etihad Stadium, whilst Roberto Martinez makes two changes from the side that lost to Fulham last week. Gary Caldwell is suspended so Steve Gohouri starts, and Franco Di Santo is preferred to Albert Crusat.

Then it’s down the M1 to Craven Cottage for a London derby between Fulham and Tottenham and, not televised, there’s a rematch of the 2011 FA Cup semi-final between Bolton and Stoke City going on.

Keep track of all the action as it happens in our Dugout Discussion chatroom.

    thinking...

arteta to VDV (already have ramsey)
    dyer/moses to drenthe
    suarez to sturridge

    4 point hit
    ??

Looks good, although maybe hold off on the moses to drenthe because it will save you a four point hit and Wigan has Blackburn at home. Even if Moses does his normal thing (2 points) and Drenthe gets an assist, you'll still come out ahead... But it's not a horrible 4 point hit if you decide to gamble...

I'd do it but hold the Drenthe transfer to GW 13 to avoid the hit.

Looks good to me. I'm considering the second transfer, Dyer rotates better with Drenthe but i don't want to get rid of Moses. 🙁

no. As a rule of thumb 8 pt hits aren't worth it. Even so, I don't think those transfers actually improve your players. Also, it's unwise to make transfers when we're 2 weeks and two international matches away from the next GW.

On set pieces, decent fixtures, goal threat, good value. Watching the game yesterday he looked a threat going forward.

In home games I think Baines will be involved in more set pieces as moyes is more defensive in away games.

So Drenthe isnt guaranteed most set pieces esepcially in home games.

He got one massive haul against Fulham. That's mostly it, a couple of 4 point weeks and one 6 point week. His next fixture against Wolves is a nice one though and Bolton after. Still, a lot of better and cheaper midfield options.

Sturridge owners: I'm thinking of swapping him for Bendtner. Chelsea have looked poor lately and so have Sturridge. Bendter is the main striker for Sunderland and guaranteed 90 mins. I also heard he was stepping up to take the penalty yesterday..

So this week, I came here asking for transfer advice on a mid striker combo for 13 mil for a one week punt...
I really wanted Dzeko, but it left me with a weak midfielder,
    choices were
    Allen and Dzeko
    Gabby and Ramsey
    OHara and Zamora
    etc.

I went with Adam Johnson and Doyle!!!

    What was i thinking!!!
