The final batch of Premier League fixtures before another international break, has three games closing out Gameweek 11. Not the biggest box office attractions on offer today it has to be said, but the Dugout Discussion is open for business regardless.
We start at Molineux with a tussle between two sides with the worst current form in the league, as Wolves play host to Wigan. With just a solitary point between them in their last six games, it’s no surprise to see them threatening the wrong end of the table. Here is the team news for the game that already qualifies for “six-pointer” status…
Wolves XI: Hennessey, Stearman, Johnson, Berra, Ward, Edwards, Henry, Guedioura, Hunt, O’Hara, Doyle.
Wigan XI: Al Habsi, Boyce, Gohouri, Figueroa, Alcaraz, Watson, Moses, Diame, Jones, Di Santo, Rodallega.
Mick McCarthy names an unchanged eleven from their trip the Etihad Stadium, whilst Roberto Martinez makes two changes from the side that lost to Fulham last week. Gary Caldwell is suspended so Steve Gohouri starts, and Franco Di Santo is preferred to Albert Crusat.
Then it’s down the M1 to Craven Cottage for a London derby between Fulham and Tottenham and, not televised, there’s a rematch of the 2011 FA Cup semi-final between Bolton and Stoke City going on.
Keep track of all the action as it happens in our Dugout Discussion chatroom.
